2.5 days left until deadline. GMs are in a tough spot do you deal and hope covid slows down again or just stand Pat and hope your team is good enough without risking too much in case of a season cancellation You use common sense and make deals with some conditions attached to lessen the blow if a playoffs is wiped out. You'd rather be the all in team with no playoffs happening than the team losing to a buyer come playoff time. |

Once the Omicron "bubble" passes they will restart play. So far it has not led to a huge spike in hospitalizations and Intubations, it appears to be much milder than the Delta though is spreads easier. |

Lalancette mentioned teams were making trades with "season cancelling clauses" so no reason to not go for it imo.

I can't think of any teams, at any level, that play without any RH forwards, other than a rookie. That said, they are in first place, and do have a PP% of 33% without one. |

At this point I am wondering if the Islanders are done? I figured they wouldn't be because we lost Oliver, but at this point who knows
Edit to say SJ just acquired a bunch but there has been no note of what the return is. Will anyone be able to beat them at this point?

Charlottetown has one leg in the water, might as well put them both in at this point. No point in saving for next year. If the SJ rumours are true, Islanders need some upgrades at fwd.
