Huge matchup tonight as the Sea Dogs are heading into town. Saint John comes in on a 6 game winning streak and will be looking to climb as high as they can in the overall standings. We've won 3 straight and will be looking to put some space between ourselves and Quebec in the overall standings.
No news yet updating the status of our injured players.....and I will assume that Frankie gets the nod between the pipes tonight.
Game time is 7:00 PM.

3-0 after one. Glad i didn’t make it into this one. There’s just something not right with this team. Maybe the other Contenders are just that good but the Islanders haven’t looked good for a long time in my opinion. Doesn’t hurt that we can’t stay out of the box and cant stay healthy

Very impactful first period….down 3-0…..Sea Dogs getting much better looks than us.
Gallant with a lower body injury. When he got to his feet he put no weight on his injured leg.
Saye picks up a high sticking match for filling Kuznetsov’s face…..he will likely miss time….perhaps in the 5 game range?

I personally thought Kuznetzov should’ve received 5 as well Todd had no luck and the hit was right to the head

You can't crosscheck a guy in the face after the whistle. Also, he'd be considered a repeat offender. |

This is the type of game that they would like to have Boyd in the lineup. Just to keep things quiet and give the team some extra room.
Hoping for a better period coming up.
Being down 3-0 to SJ after 1 period is a tough start.

oof. some guys sitting behind me were saying that the seadogs coach wanted the islanders players injured. if that's true he certainly got what he wanted. we're now down Boyd, Elliot, Leblanc, Gallant, Simoneaux, Plandowski and possibly Trudeau(took a slash to the hand and didn't look right afterwards). u
ugly ugly game. lapenna had a rough go.

What happened to Plandowski and Simoneau? Dirty Dwyer never liked him here don’t like him now. Plandowski got hit in the face, was walking around with a bag of ice to his jaw and apparently had to go for imaging at the hospital. Simoneaux got hit with a knee on knee, couldn't put any weight on it when he left the ice. |

Awful reffing, when the refs didn’t call Poirier on the knee on brabenec in first , it was wide open for sea dogs to bully the isles with dirty hits , than Gallant gets knee on knee no call than Plando
Gets puck in mouth and than simmeaou gets knee on knee, refs let this game get out of hand for sea dogs. Sea dogs were very lucky to win this game with bounces and Frankie struggling and isles down players, if I was sea dogs I’d be ashamed of their actions
