Game #3 goes tomorrow and we'll talk about something other than the officiating in game #3. We are in a hole, but being down 2-0 does not spell gloom in a best of seven series. A couple of days off between games provides a lot of time to focus on what we are doing right and things that need to change.
There are adjustments to be made to get more dangerous shots at the Cataractes net and we have to do more to keep Bourgault/Bourque in check.
This is our most critical game of the season to date.... we do not want to go into an 0-3 hole. Simply stated, game #3 is must win for Charlottetown.
Game time is 8:00 PM ADT on Wednesday night. We can watch it live on TSN.

I think we see the guys mad but smart. I really wouldn't be shocked if it's 2-2 coming home for game 5.
We are the better team we've just had shit luck so far. A key suspension throwing everything off and a garbage "technically it's a penalty" call late in the other game.
Keep Shawinigan's duo in check and we'll be in better shape.
I'd love to win this just to shut up the cocky Shawinigan fans.

CHSB leading the charge over in the French board about how we’re in trouble if put him in the same category as Hicks as people who I’d love to pass stranded in side of the road 100 miles from water or human life beep beep and drive on by.. I think Frankie steals the show tomorrow evening and gets bud back in the series he’s been average the first 2 games and we need him to be 3rd round Frankie and I think he rises to the occasion

To be the best you have to beat the best. The Islander's may be down but they aren't out of it yet. A win tomorrow night could go a long way for their confidence.
A co-worker was talking to me today about the rumours surrounding the team a few seasons back with players getting paid money to uhh fall apart basically? He pretty much suggested that it could be happening again as certain players aren't showing up this series. But I cannot imagine at this stage in your junior career you take money over a championship.

I never heard that rumour about our players taking money to fall apart.. I am will to bet and put a lot on the line that this team does not have 1 player that is being paid off

I am will to bet and put a lot on the line that this team does not have 1 player that is being paid off It was a few years ago I guess and he just seems to want to blame the game 1 loss on that. I am highly doubtful of it but I didn't want to start an argument at the workplace. If the Islanders pull this out, I will certainly be making note of that to him lol I agree with you though, cannot imagine anyone on this team doing that. They've worked hard all season and all post-season. That first game was on the whole team, not 1 or 2 people.

That might be the stupidest thing I’ve ever read.
Did you see the emotion on those kids leaving the ice after game 2?
They care. This is their life right now…
Over/under on broken sticks is probably like 15 haha

I hadn't heard said rumor until it was told to me today so I was curious if anyone else had heard it, that's all.

Anyone who makes up, spreads, or believes a rumour like that, I would consider a very unintelligent person. That might be the stupidest thing I’ve ever read. This again has game 3 and 4 on back to back nights.
Just like that scenario was bad for the Islanders in first two nights as can quickly get down its now not ideal for Shawinigan. A good road team can take energy out of building early and mute it somewhat.
Nobody picked a sweep in this series. Through 2 games it feels like 1-1 but if PEI gets a good start they can sustain that for 27 hours and it's all tied again.
Game 3 is the biggest game for both teams and should be the cleanest game from a coaching perspective since the teams are now more used to the styles, tempo and familiar having already broken the ice.
If Shawinigan doesn't start with urgency then everything they have gained will be forgotten on the flight Friday morning.

They're a no quit team. If they play with the same effort and energy as Gallant, no reason this doesn't come back tied up with momentum our way.
Hopefully they can pull off the win tonight.

I liked what Hulton said after game 1 "if we die, we die our way." I think if the team plays like everyone knows they can, they can get a win and build off of it to make this a series.

you often see those handful of people who have conspiracy theories...there's no way players are being paid off that's laughable...
I can't picture some big mojo Shawinigan fan or something throwing money at Charlottetown players behind the scenes so they throw games or anything of the sort as anywhere near legit....
those people love making illogical excuses.

Lineups are in!
For us, we are dressing 7 D with Topilnyckyj drawing in. This is presumably because Plandowski is nicked up and we don't want to be short depth on D. This means that McQuaid, Todd, Bowness, and LeBlanc are all out.
For the Cataractes, they are back to Coulombe in goal to start. Canonica draws back in after missing game #2
The Islanders get a chance to play the biggest game of their lives tonight..... and the beauty of it all is that with a win, they get to play an even bigger game tomorrow in game #4.
This should be a great one!
