I'd like to the know average of how many shots our d take and miss the net compared to other teams. I always feel like we miss the net alot compared to other teams

Pretty near a perfect period all things considered would be nice tho to open a bit of a lead letting Shaw hang around within one has me scared Followed up by one of the worst so far. They gotta smarten up or there won't be a game 5. Lapenna needs to wake up too. |

I always feel like we miss the net alot compared to other teams Guess it depends if they shooting to score or shooting to get the puck down low to create better scoring chances. Lanes to the net get blocked with players. Its the obvious place the puck will be going. Sometimes you get a bounce off a leg or redirect or maybe a fortunate bounce off the boards. Pucks toward the net create plays. Pucks that go in that mass of people can potentially become turnovers and bounce to some skater going the other way too. Or allow goalie to stop the play and get his team a whistle. I find the teams I watch don't intentionally miss the net enough, and are taking too many low quality shots. The good teams seem to mix it up. But you may be right. Maybe they are just bad shooters. |
