Great second period by the islanders definitely have control of this game . Lots of positives will be going through the bench now. Should be a suspension incoming after that hit. Go isles go 100% head shot. |

Still a big up hill climb but win tonight and coming back home with momentum and possibly with one of Sha top d man suspended thebIsles could make things interesting come Saturday

Still got 20 minutes to go. Need to stay focused on this game and finish it. Nice to see the PP getting some results. Really nice seeing Trudeau get going in this series. He's been great all playoffs.

I have only watched last game and this game and I noticed that the Shawinigan Goalie is not that good…his rebound control and glove hand hasn’t been all that good. I realize the series is 3-0 for shawinigan but the Islanders lost game 2 and 3 to bad breaks (shitty/ questionable penalty call + own goal(mistake)), not due to good game play by shawinigan.
I wouldn’t count Charlottetown out of this series just yet. I think they are starting to find the loop holes of Shawinigan.

With a 5-0 lead must have been big relief for the Isles when the intermission finished the other team didn't come out of the tunnel wearing green with a big H & antlers on the front.
That was about the only way the Isles choke this game away.
Saturday will be a new day. One period at a time.

Did you guys know we never won a game in the QMJHL Finals? If only there was some sort of constant reminder to let me know that the Charlottetown Islanders have never won a game in the QMJHL Finals. There must be some sort of Methot to tell us that we never won a game in the QMJHL Finals.

I must say though what a fantastic job by the officials in the past 2 games. The maritime officials could take lessons, it will be interesting to see who is doing the game come Saturday
