Habs have sent Miguel Tourigny to a team in Slovakia rather than the ECHL or back to the Q….is this a possibility for Trudeau as well?
Have heard nothing to suggest this….just connecting things to another 20 y/o Habs prospect.

What is the actual rules around trading 20’s? For example if we traded a 20 year, one would assume it would be for picks or future considerations right? From my understanding, 20's can be traded at any time, as can picks. Players ages 16-19 can't be tho, theoretically you could trade a 20 for picks and trade those picks for players at Christmas, but I don't think I've ever actually seen that done. The other thing I'm not 100% sure on is non-roster players being moved outside the trading period. I think generally it's a "no" but iirc Nic Roy was traded a few weeks into the season... tho that might have been the league overlooking its own rule in order to get a star prospect playing. Edit - The Nic Roy trade was done during the offseason... but I think it might have been done outside the cut-off date... I remember something weird with that trade either way. |

Basically translates to that he thinks he’s too good for the Q, where I’m not sure Trudeau would think that way…especially as a late bloomer |

Patrick Guay just got sent to the ECHL. I wonder what that means in terms of our trade with the Armada, is it possible he could still end up in the Q at this point?

Patrick LeBlanc heading to Rimouski for a 2023 7th rounder.
Great to see him find a spot in the league now that our 20 y/o situation is rounding into form.
Back in December when we acquired Stairs I would have expected he'd be a 20 y/o somewhere in the league, but I would have guessed that LeBlanc was going to end up as a 20 y/o playing Jr. A. As it all shakes out, it's a positive that LeBlanc has a place to play and that we are able to get an asset for him.

But didn't play last night in 9-2 loss at UPEI. Welsh was tagged with 7 goals against in the Huskies first loss of the season. |

Watching the game vs Quebec tonight sure could use Boyd’s big body. Islanders are playing tough and not backing down but they are definitely getting out hit in this game. Almost could say boys against men out there tonight. But that all comes with rebuilding

Nathan Mossey has been sent down to Major U18. Finally some confirmation. According to P×P man, Cory Arsenault, it's pretty much just a " conditioning" stint. He's been injured before camp started so they want him to be 100% healthy and get some Ice time down with the Knights. I believe he said something along the lines of, "he will definitely be back up with the Islanders this season." |
