Would the two of you please stop. Why should we stand for unsubstantiated gossip to be spreaded on this Board from an unknown hearsay source?

You have more unknown hearsay sources than anyone on this board ... guess you only like it when it is good news ...

Let me get this straight. Clendenning had a good camp in St Louis last year, followed by a difficult season. But he turned it on in the last month and was hot in the playoffs. From what I understand, he was invited back in St Louis this year again... ... And this season could potentially be a hot one for the Titan, maybe even in line with a cup run... ... But you suggest he'd forego those opportunities to go Jr. A or AUS. I see. Clendenning is like Chris Gaudet ... a great captain and gritty player ... a very key player on his team ... but I think he realizes that his chances of a pro career are slim unless he has interest of playing ECHL. Gaudet will play AUS next year even though he considered pro options at the end of last year. I'm not saying he will play JR A ... I'm saying the offer was apparently made at that price ... and Yarmouth wants him bad enough to trade assets to acquire his rights (from Woodstock). Do you think they traded for his rights without even talking to him ? I have heard nothing that suggests Clendenning will play Jr A ... simply reporting what I heard. He would of got a pro tryout as well if he was Signed by Yarmouth. Jordan will not make NHL.. and as steve was saying his pro options would look like ECHL. And i can guarentee you his paychecque down here would of been bigger then with Bathurst. The only option i looked at it for him was to make a little more coin and get National Exsposure since there goals to make the RBC

Here is one which is substantiated for you: According to Couturier on CKLE-FM a few minutes ago, every veteran will be at camp starting Friday...... The only absentees are Danny Robichaud injured and Nicolas Therrien with a concussion from last Spring. This is not the first time and it is the 2nd Board where Steve comes up with his gossip about Jordan. I told him 3 months ago about my conversation with Jordan and the fact that he would be at camp according to himself....not hearsay but himself. I put much more stock into that, that it pleases you or not....

I told him 3 months ago about my conversation with Jordan and the fact that he would be at camp according to himself....not hearsay but himself. Yes, and you said it again and again and again. Did that change his mind? No. Steve loves to pull your chain and you give him more ammo every time you repeat yourself. He can babble all he wants. You know different, I know different. Shit, Everybody else knows different. Just drop it. Will you ever get it? Will you ever understand what Steve and Billy do? Will you ever understand what YOU do?

Chabot is no longer part of the equation with Clendenning playing with the Titan ... so he is likely much more interested now in returning ... the dynamic has changed since I first posted (confirmed by a few Titan fans) that Clendenning was pondering other options.

The last news were that Jordan got offered a ECHL/AHL contract from the Islanders but declined so after all will not report to the Isles camp..... We now all hope for him that he gets a good OA season like Beau had last season... Good luck to Jordan!

Likely a smart move as if he signed that contract he would have lost his Q education money right? I personally am a fan of Clendennings and if he can have a strong rebound season this year it might help him be more ready to earn a one-way contract in the AHL next season or he will still have the option of entering university with the Q education money. I highly doubt that Clendenning had any interest in playing ECHL.
