I’m sure after that loss to Moncton Kidney hopes he doesn’t have to come back. Our D are brutal. Higgins is going backwards. If they get any player for Kidney it has to be a good D. Fleming was great. But the d kill any offense the top line hope to generate.
Nice to see some secondary scoring in the game but after Xmas this team will be a challenge to win games unless they get a big haul for Kidney and Melanson.

Things are not going to get better after trading period, they will trade big chips to rebuild. Starting back with high potential players and work hard for tomorrow. Developing a team from scratch you need a couple of good leaders to focus on development and to hold you head high.

Kidney is injured. Can’t take a player who might not be able to play depending on his injury. Don’t hear it’s major but the short turn around makes it hard to take him. Feel for him it’s sucks but he has a great future in hockey.

With the very bad players that they took on the 4th line, I am sure that he makes it if not injured. That is a bummer, but he will come back strong. I hope that he ends up in a strong team where he will fit in nicely and that the team gets a good return on him. Both parties deserve the best as he has been such a great ambassador for the franchise the past 4 years.

I can see at least 4-5 assets for him. look at what Groulx and MacIsaac brought back to Halifax from Moncton... |

I heard rumours QC city, Gatineau, Sherbrooke and Halifax have made offers for Kidney.....if he goes to QC city they are powerhouse with Kidney and Robidas....and the rest of a dominate team...Patrick Roy is going all in.
