I heard rumours QC city, Gatineau, Sherbrooke and Halifax have made offers for Kidney.....if he goes to QC city they are powerhouse with Kidney and Robidas....and the rest of a dominate team...Patrick Roy is going all in. I think the other teams can beat Quebec's offer no? Not sure what they will have to offer after picking up Robidas and a couple depth pieces. Gatineau/Halifax/Sherbrooke all have great pieces to offer. however, if he does end up there, that team is STACKED.

Kidney won't be coming to Québec. Top 6 will be loaded when Robidas will come in.

Roy, Rochette, Bolduc, Malatesta, Gaucher, Robidas is a solid top 6, and I doubt they pay premium assets to have a star player on the 3rd line. However, a depth piece or 2 for the bottom 6 would help for secondary scoring. This team will be similarly built to Val d'Or from a few years ago that made the finals.

adding another strong D alongside Komarov and Nause makes the most sense. Gaudet or Brunet???

I think that was Roy. He never goes all in then loses in round 2 or 3.

I think that was Roy. He never goes all in then loses in round 2 or 3. would make sense considering how much they interview him lol...But yeah I highly doubt Quebec has what it takes to beat offers from the other 3 main contenders. it also just sounds like something Roy would say

When it comes to doing the trade I cant see it happening. Smart really.

As good as Quebec is right now though, I think the other 3 contenders will look equally scary if not scarier once big trades are done. Should make for an interesting playoffs!

I would more go after Murray than Wener, but Murray is a guy Remparts would like to keep.

Do you mean the loaded team that lost in the finals? The difference is this Quebec group has been together for a much longer time and seems far more cohesive. Val-d'Or was mostly a squad of mercenaries and I think it showed in the finals.
