now that Gatineau has been eliminated, anyone have any idea on who the player rumored to be coming as a future to us could be? I believe it's Boutin. That's the name I've seen floating around the most anyway |

That's the name I've seen floating around the most anyway yeah when I look at their roster Boutin makes the most sense, considering their core 4 was rumored to not be involved in any deals as futures. Boutin could potentially put up 45-50 points next year as an OA which isn't bad. Would be a nice fit alongside Higgins. Boutin - Higgins Clements - Perron That's a decent top 4 assuming Clements and Perron can take another step forward. |

ok right... but, why it would be a good idea to have a 20 yrs and a 19 yrs instead to give spaces for 16-17 players ?

ok right... but, why it would be a good idea to have a 20 yrs and a 19 yrs instead to give spaces for 16-17 players ? You can't have a team full of 16 and 17 year olds. Plus, Boutin and some of the 19 year olds will be probably traded by christmas time if not sooner. |

ok right... but, why it would be a good idea to have a 20 yrs and a 19 yrs instead to give spaces for 16-17 players ? need to have a balance, and the team can't really afford to get blown out every night again like this year... IIRC we don't own our 2024 1st rounder so bottoming out isn't ideal. I hope they bring in 2 16/17 YO D-men with potential to play as #5 or #6 guys and then they can work their way up. Moving Bishop and Maddigan would make sense as they'd be 19 YO's playing as bottom pairing guys and aren't really a part of the future imo. If we're not that competitive we likely see guys like Higgins flipped at the deadline anyways and then the young guys can have more ice time. But a core 4 of guys I mentioned could very well put us in a decent spot. Our division doesn't seem overly strong net year as of right now. |

Roelens is also rumored to be coming in Bathurst. I expected either him or Gill, was hoping for Gill but Roelens should be a solid addition for us. He's also huge |

Titan definitely need to move into the 1st, I do believe they have a lot of picks as well that could be added to get it done. Not sure if this Q draft is expected to be deep or not though. |

With Boutin being flipped to Moncton I won't be shocked if Roelens is with us to start the season. Hope they could flip him for a bit more value though.
