Here is the final Kidney tree: Kidney(2003) 2nd 2023 3rd 2024 6th 2023 To Gatineau for Arsenault(2004) Orr(2003) 1st 2025(Gat) 1st 2025 7th 2023(Mon) 3rd 2023 5th 2023 7th 2023 (Some of the subsequent moves may or may not be connected) Might be the worst trade in Titan history. No, I take it back. It is the worst trade in Titan history. Just look at what the Titan paid for Hendrix Lapierre and Lapierre was not as good as Kidney. I can't say that my committment is there this year. The team will be as bad as last season for the whole season. Not just half a year like this past season. Promises made by league politicians don't hold any water with me. Team is gone in 2 years.

with the Titan only having one 2nd round pick, and one 3rd round pick, I'm wondering what other deals could be lined up for tomorrow. I still think Roelens gets moved somewhere, and the Titan bring in two cheap OA's that can help the young guys. ideally an OA on defense.
This team also has a lot of 19 YO's so I think it's ideal to move on from 2-3 guys and take what we can get.
right now the roster would look like this:
Arseneault - Roelens - Orr Andrews - Henneberry - Lallier Collette - Ryan - Pilgram-Edwards Godin - Green? - Dickson draft pick - euro
McRae, Forster, and Samenas I can't see being back. If the rumors of Roelens + Henneberry being moved are true we are extremely lacking at center. This team doesn't look terrible on paper by any means but not great either. A lot of depth guys but no real star power.
we need 2 new euros, hopefully 2 impact ones.
Clements - Higgins Perron - OA? Maddigan - Bishop draft pick - euro
I can't see Chitaroni coming back, and ideally I would probably move on from Maddigan and/or Bishop for guys who are younger.
Really have to hope Perron, Clements, and Higgins can take even bigger steps this season.
Fleming Lacroix-Goulet
Fleming could be a top goalie this season if the team in front of him plays better, he was remarkable last year behind a bad team. Lacroix-Goulet is probably good enough now to earn the backup position.
this team lacks a direction in terms of what year they want to contend, their ages are all over the place for core guys, 2005 seem to be the majority of the core but that would mean contending next season which I think is extremely unlikely, nor do we have the assets to really build for next season. It's really hard to tell right now.

2005-2006 should be the core of this team this year if you want to be able to have something above the average next year.

Titan not getting into the 1st round has to be a huge loss imo. I know we have the 1st pick of the 2nd round and we likely get a solid player there but after this team sold off their top guys and still couldn't get into the 1st it's tough...not sure what type of moves we could expect the rest of the day.

no trades on draft day so far and we're in the 8th round of choices....This team can't realistically go into next season with 3/4 of the same roster it ended last season with...
guess we likely see more deals in August, but as of right now there's holes to fill.

Kidney was as soft as butter in the playoffs. So was Lapierre. I still think acquiring Lapierre was one of the biggest mistakes they've made. Still think last year should've been their go for it and not the year prior. Teams who make a run when their core guys are 18 doesn't usually work out as well as teams who's core is 19. Look at Gatineau this past season as well, their core was mainly talented 18 YO's and they got swept in the 3rd round. Now there was 4 really strong teams in general this past season but still.

Three defencemen have been added to the Titan TC roster - Cole Cooper, Justin Gregoire and Adamo Zingaro. Titan TC rosterNotice that link has Milo Roelens listed as a euro… he is not. He’s belgian but he grew up in Quebec

Henneberry, Fleming, and Higgins all had a very slight chance of being drafted in the 6th/7th round, but no teams took them. I can see all 3 likely getting camp invites.

I think they let some 2006 players in their midget team by purpose. To gain confidence and for sure, to not play with a very mediocre team.
Frechette, Laberge, Leard and Deleau would been better than some regular player last year.

Alexis Daniel was reported to be our 3rd OA for this coming season, however it seems he will not be playing in the Q this season as he doesn't want to be traded out of Moncton.
wonder who we go after as I hope Forster isn't the choice.

Might need two OAs if it's true that Roelens doesn't want to play in Bathurst. I think Daniel could be convinced to go to Bathurst if they really want him, it's the closest team to home for him besides SJ.

I'm sure if Roelens doesn't want to play here we can find a feasible forward or D to replace him and get more picks out of it. He should be a top 15 OA this season and could help a contender. Daniel still wouldn't be a bad add.
