For getting blindside picked? 2 penalties for getting picked in the 3rd, but Elie got tackled twice w no call I didn't see it so perhaps I should not have commented about it. But I know the refs consulted one another and had a fairly lengthy review of it. So rightly or wrongly I figured they got it right. Maybe I'm giving them too much credit. Thifault was watching the puck and had the Titan (who was looking at Thifault) skate across to stop him. There was no sticking out the knee (not that Thifault could have even if he wanted to) but he absolutely hit the Titan player in the head as he threw his arms up to protect himself (first game back from shoulder surgery). The issue is that the Titan player initiated the contact. |

Would have been nice for our Gatineau pick if both of these close games went to OT. Both teams are going to struggle to get points the rest of the season.

That was a terrible game to watch. I don’t get this team. There is no flow and nobody seems to know where they are supposed to be. There are to many individuals on the team. They have to understand it’s a team game and you stand up for each other. The team is way to soft.

They have to understand it’s a team game and you stand up for each other. The team is way to soft. I cant stand watching Gauthier play fw on the PP. There are some decisions on who is playing with who that make no sense. |

Thifault got a 2 game suspension. Still don't understand how the guy who didn't see the hit coming gets punished but the guy who skated into him gets nothing.
Fwiw, the Calder hit sets a dangerous precedent, because he had the player lined up, started gliding towards him (to avoid a charging penalty), and had a Titan player step between him and the puck carrier to prevent a hit. The only way Calder could have avoided the 2 for interference would have been to take a run at Titan D.

This coaching staff is a joke !! Not sure who’s responsible for the PP but someone needs to answer question. We have no system, no breakouts we run all over the place in our zone.

I usually don’t complain about coaches but I have to say I agree. The PP is terrible. They need to rethink on what they are doing. 5v5 our break out needs work. Forwards are leaving zone to early, D are trying to carry puck to much. We seem to be pushing the puck into areas where the other team have a 50/59 chance to get the puck. There seems to be no chemistry with the team to many individuals

Right now, Beaulieu is our 8th leading forward scorer thanks to a 2 point weekend. Our 9th leading forward point getting is tied with our 6th leading D point getter.
We have a top 5 who are playing fairly well, then Beveridge who is doing well for a 16, then Akkouche, then Beaulieu is next. We have 2 19 year-old centres with 1 point each.
We also only have 15 players that have scored in 17 games (with 6 of them being D).

You can’t argue that but it is also hard to get any flow with systems being the way they are. Realistically we can’t expect allot on skill but what we should see is hard work and playing as a team.
