I only realized now that pilgrim-Edwards was finally given a chance last night on the 1st line…and he ended the game with 2 assists. I think his potential is there to be a bit of an offensive threat. He’s still young but giving him time to develop higher up rather than the 4th line could do him wonders. It’s just funny that I mentioned the other day giving him a try up there and then Gordie actually does it hahahah.
Noah Ryan is another I’d like to see get more ice time. He makes mistakes but for his size his skating is getting better and he has some hands. I think giving him more opportunity as well could benefit his play.

Guys you have to have faith that Gordie can pull this team together and get them to the playoffs and into a deep playoff run like he did last season. I mean look at the team he had to work with last year and how well he did! I understand what you're doing but I think we all get it by now lol....unfortunately we are stuck with our current position and just have to hope things turn around, if not well then onto the next. There's no way I can see owner ship being happy with the current position of the team and how the trade deadline went...however the draft and next season will be another test and if Dwyer can't do what's needed to be done then I doubt management sticks with him. is Dwyer on the first year of a 3 or 4 year contract? No way the team can cover that and a new coach if they let Gordie go. Sort of stuck with him for a few years. The team is bad. Very bad. It is exactly what I expected. I had hoped the team would show some improvement, but I'm not really seeing it. I thought they would be bad but with some hopeful flashes. The trade period didn't bring in any young prospects which I expected. Not the players fault. That's on management. Unless the team hits a few homeruns at the draft with new prospects and some futures from this past trade season, then next year will be a tough one as well. It is what it is.

Something needs to change. Giving younger players more ice time and opportunities would give them experience and a chance to prove themselves.

You make a good point, I’m not sure his contract details. Team definitely couldn’t afford that…the position of the team overall is just a bit frustrating because the all-in last year really drained us. like yes we potentially have a lottery pick in 2024 and 2025 but overall we don’t have that many high picks besides those. We have to hope we hit on all our 2nds/3rds/etc…cause even next year we don’t have a whole lot of guys that we can move for high value unless Andrews/Henneberry/Higgins/Arsenault/etc. take another big step forward and we can move them for higher picks/prospects. And you’re right we don’t exactly have many prospects in the pipeline either…it’s a weird rebuild for sure. Maybe we have more coming at the draft? But honestly I doubt it.
