Game #4 goes tonight. The Remparts will be looking to close it out and get a nice long rest. We're just playing with the desperation that goes with trying to extend the season.
Game time is 7:00.

As much potential as Campbell has can’t help but feel he will be a liability for most of his career unless he smartens up

1 game suspension for Campbell.... must be the regular suspension for a match penalty.
I did not see the game. What is the incident?
This team went downhill in rapid fashion when we started committing infractions that lead to suspensions:
Sam Bowness; 2 games staged fight - Oct. 30
Sam Bowness; 1 game high sticking - Jan. 5
Ross Campbell; 2 games checking from behind - Jan. 8
Simon Hughes; 1 game checking to head - Jan. 18
Lane Hinkley; 1 game accumulation of codes - Jan. 22 (his first two violations before the suspension were with Drummondville)
Jeremie Biakabatuka; 3 games attempt to injure - Jan. 27
Jim Hulton; 1 game unsportsmanlike - Feb. 11
Ross Campbell; 1 game unsportsmanlike - Feb. 16
Sam Bowness; 1 game accumulation of codes - Feb. 26
Lane Hinkley; 1 game accumulation of codes - Mar. 3
Sam Bowness; 2 games fighting after original altercation plus accumulation of codes - Mar. 3
Simon Hughes; 2 games aggressor plus accumulation of codes - Mar. 4
Jim Hulton; 1 game unsportsmanlike conduct - Mar. 4
Simon Hughes; 2 games kneeing - Mar. 22
Ross Campbell; 1 game high sticking - Apr. 4
1 suspension from September to the end of December... then a boatload since then. Of course, you have to acknowledge that accumulation of codes is a part in this. They will accumulate in the 2nd half.
Since joining our team in January, Campbell has 3 different suspensions.... same with Hughes. These guys are both touted to be important leaders on this team in the coming seasons.
And I'm not calling either guy out. But if they want to have a successful future in major junior hockey here, maybe they some self examination like Pascal Aquin did...he's a guy who was prone to the odd bonehead play. But once he found the right line.... he was able to still be a tough player but not hurt us by being stuck in the stands.
I'm all for tough hard nosed hockey....but you've got to be sensible enough to stay on the right side of the line. Undisciplined play has been a real issue with this hockey team in the past three months.

i will call them out
Neither will be a leader unless they find a way to reign in the aggression
Campbell stepped on the ice and made a beeline to number 14 and crosschecked him twice in the head
Earlier hughes was hit high no call made and romeo stopped playing trying to instigate a fight we were scored on later in that play as both hughes and romeo were completely out of the play
Most embarrassing tho is the crowd cheered for the stupid play by campbell and booed the refs for making the proper call…. Idiotic

But it's the same fans that threw cans and garbage at the U of A bench and players for refusing a handshake with UPEI. Sure, it's a little cheap for U of A to refuse the handshake... an overreaction maybe. But there's a real irony in that UPEI fans went apeshit and called the U of A classless and poor sports.... and proceeded to verbally berate the team and throw debris their way. Lots of fans go to the games and think they are in 1996. Just saying. i will call them out Neither will be a leader unless they find a way to reign in the aggression Campbell stepped on the ice and made a beeline to number 14 and crosschecked him twice in the head Earlier hughes was hit high no call made and romeo stopped playing trying to instigate a fight we were scored on later in that play as both hughes and romeo were completely out of the play Most embarrassing tho is the crowd cheered for the stupid play by campbell and booed the refs for making the proper call…. It'll be tough, but the reverse sweep begins tonight.
Lol, I think it'll be even uglier tonight, hopefully I'm wrong though. It would be nice to see our 20s go out with a pretty strong effort.

I'm going to try for a more positive angle: Each game the isles have scored one more goal than the last...can the isle get 3 tonight? I go into each game hoping for one goal and that's about it.
I never expected them to beat Quebec. Quebec is too dang good and don't have a single player under age 18 on their team. Meanwhile, the Isle are made up of 16, 17, and 18 year olds.

Best period by far for the Isles.
Rousseau made a number great saves.

Best period by far for the Isles. Rousseau made a number great saves. Exactly. The Islanders came out strong but Rousseau was great. He has been all series really. He didn't have lots of shots but he made the important saves. Robillard was also great overall.

Rousseau is going to be hard to beat. Good luck, I hope you get to the end!

Unfortunate but expected result. Stealing a win would've been great but Quebec has a ton of weapons with a great coach keeping those weapons going.
Can't wait until next year though to see how this core really grew this season.
