Saturday, August 19 – Players arrive
Sunday, August 20
10:00-11:30am – Intrasquad Red vs. White game. Open to the public.
4:00-6:00pm – Intrasquad Red vs. White game. Open to the public.
Monday, August 21
2:30-4:30pm – Intrasquad Red vs. White game. Open to the public.
Tuesday, August 22
7:00pm – Exhibition game vs Acadie-Bathurst Titan, Avenir Centre
Wednesday, August 23
7:00pm – Exhibition game @ Acadie-Bathurst Titan, Miramichi
Friday, August 25
7:00pm – Exhibition game @ Cape Breton Eagles, Sydney
Monday, August 28
Wildcats Golf Tournament
Friday, September 8
7:00pm – Exhibition game vs Cape Breton Eagles, Avenir Centre
Saturday, September 9
4:00pm – Exhibition game @ Acadie-Bathurst Titan, Bathurst
Friday, September 15
7:00pm – Exhibition game vs Acadie-Bathurst Titan, Bouctouche

Thoughts on the new fighting rules ? like them/ don't like them ? will cheap shots increase ? going to be some tough calls for the official's !
Guess it will be an interesting training camp , players getting used to the new rules.
Everyone has an opinion , not looking to start any trolling ! Just looking forward to the start the season.

The Wildcats had a total of 5 fights last season, 1 fight at home which was Hamel and I think he smacked his head off the ice and got a concussion. To me it's just a non issue at this point. There isn't any cheap shots that fighting is preventing. |

There was was a total of 85 fights last season...the Memorial Cup winning Remparts had a grand total of one...
Compare that to 04/05 and there was 725.......with new fighting rules or not...fighting is on its way out.

Wonder if the numbers for the OHL and WHL are trending like the QMJHL ? OHL changed their rules 7-8 years, there have been a lot fewer fights since. |
