Nice to give him a chance to play in the Q while getting to move up a couple rounds in the draft. I wonder if there are conditions since they are 2025 picks Usually if he stays all tear it bumps up a round or two. |

They have to keep Dubreuil, that's 7D plus Hacket and Ballentyne, if they keep one of those two and 14 forwards, they would have to go with just one goalie. |

I didn’t even think of roster size - in that case you’re probably right. Personally, I’d rather keep 14 forwards and 7 D. I just don’t see there being enough ice time to go around with 8 D - the top 6 is pretty set and should play most nights. |

Looks like we traded that 7th to SJ for a 10th? Not sure what deal that was part of Trenholm is the only one that comes to mind That pick was originally traded for Nathan Casey. Probably something to do with him - did he even go to SJ’s training camp this year? |

2024 7th from Cape Breton for Luke MacPhee Overall some tidy asset management by Thebeau picking up some future draft capital for a bunch of guys who weren't going to make the team in McPhee, Dumais, Parent and Legare ... not saying it was huge, but little moves add up ... maybe at Xmas you can send a couple of picks to get that extra depth piece that helps down the stretch even though this isn't THE big year. |
