Do the Islanders pan to make any more cuts soon? Haven't seen anything since Thursday when they cut down to 30.

With the end of the trading period here, does that mean that 19 y/o players need to be signed or waived?
Does that mean it is decision time on Vos, Rutledge, Lyons, and Todd?

Hate to growl about things but I find this training camp the Islanders have been very disappointing when it comes to keeping the fans up

There has been a release every time they have made cuts or made a trade.
The deadline ended Sunday afternoon. I haven’t seen waiver info or anything like that from any team.
Remember….their number one job right now is to pick the team. The news gets released…..we just have to patiently wait.
I feel like they’ve done as good a job as any keeping fans informed.

And also to a certain extent you have to call a spade a spade and acknowledge the erosion of local media coverage. Not long ago PEI had two papers and a sports writer at each. Now I don’t think the Journal Pioneer publishes more than weekly and the Guardian only prints 5 days a week. Jason Simmons is a veteran scribe, but he does it all for Saltwire on PEI. We just don’t see the same newspaper coverage as we would have in the past. But hands up if you pay for a print or digital copy of The Guardian. I don’t. Even my 70 something parents cancelled The Guardian and they are very limited with what they can do on the Internet. I guess we get what we pay for. Taylor Stewart does a good job for the team PR…but he is young and probably is just doing an internship. We have had great young PR people in recent years….Cudmore brothers, Aidan Nortcott, Taylor…but the job is a stepping stone for a better career in a very tough industry. All things considered, coverage is pretty good considering the current media landscape. That is true and I didn’t take that into consideration that its not really the isles to really blame.. when the paper is what seems to be lacking in info with really anything that doesn’t involve politics.. anyways I shouldn’t be growling hockey season is almost here and we actually might not be as bad as some thought .

They already released Horth is going to rookie camp, I’m sure he’s the only one…
Nobody else has been released from camp since their last release 4 days ago, not sure what you want posted
