The roster I find is very hard to believe is the right roster they listed every American and Joel Marchon and Dixon Grimes all listed to be attending

That is just a link to the protected list, plus invites from earlier in the summer (Harbour, Wilson).
They must not be ready to make the official list public at this point.
Of course, a number of guys on that list will not be attending camp for one reason or another.

But…..that list is over 60 names….and the release this morning stated 49 attendees are expected….so the guessing games can begin!

I was just reading and saw Ben Boyd and got super excited…but guess I’ll be let down.
Definitely just the protected list, Hollingsworth is on there and he’s already committed to University in Ontario.

I don’t hate it. Bring in a guy with experience and can put up points for a relatively low price. Wonder what that means for our OA situation?
Do we go 3 up front with Bell, Horth and Huckins?
Do Bell and Morneau battle it out in camp for a spot? Would look pretty bad for us to announce a signing then he doesn’t even make the team.
Other option would be to trade Horth. Would come as a huge surprise, but the Moose are looking for a 20y/o forward I believe…not like we haven’t seen one of those trades before…

I have never been a huge Huckins fan but that is not a terrible price to pay to bring him in.
It will be curious to see the next shoe to drop. I was banking on seeing Morneau, Horth, and Bell as the 20 y/o group. As mentioned, Bell signed earlier in the summer so it would seem his spot is locked up. Horth is probably our most talented player and his experience in our program is a valuable intangible. I'm a big Morneau fan and was optimistic he would have a big year.

It's not exactly correct when they are tweeting out that he is a Flames "prospect". The Flames drafted him, but did not sign him this past June and no longer hold his NHL rights. He is a free agent available to sign with any team.

This is where as a Halifax fan I have to say "We couldn't have afforded that?"
Tho maybe it's a bit of a middle finger to the Mooseheads for what happened in round 3 XD
That said, Giovanni Morneau, if he's the odd man out would fit well in Halifax, at least for a few months.

Is there a limit on how many 20 year olds you can have? I am being dramatic but it feels like Quebec and an entire team of 20 year olds lol
