Is there a limit on how many 20 year olds you can have? I am being dramatic but it feels like Quebec and an entire team of 20 year olds lol Three. Pretty sure you can carry more (protected list, call-ups, etc) but only three can play.

I am being dramatic but it feels like Quebec and an entire team of 20 year olds lol You're only allowed to have 3 when your roster is finalized. With Quebec, a lot of their 2003 born players are not going to be coming back. Bolduc, Robidas, Malatesta, Gaucher and Nause will all be playing pro. As for the rest, Darcy proved himself to be a really useful player in Quebec Simon Maltais was just picked up in a trade, so... you have to consider that there was a reason for that. Savoie and Huchette aren't stars, but they're both serviceable top-6 forwards, so, I see the battle being between those 4. Davis Cooper, Elliot Lavoie and Cam Thomson will likely find themselves in Jr. A this year.

As an Isles fan, I don't see how you cannot like this deal at the paid price.
One of our 20's will definitely be dealt.

I just really hope Morneau isn’t the odd one out That being said - I’m liking the additions that are being added. It could be a fun year!

You have to wonder if this is somehow tied to the Brabanec deal because that price is really low for a guy like Hickins. Charlottetown nabbing him for just marginally more than what Huard Jr. cost around this time last year just doesn't make a ton of sense.

Also, just realized that the Isles get a 8th rd pick in 2024...

I’m really liking our forward group…our D corps are still relatively inexperienced but there’s definitely some skill there.
With next to no one in the league looking like a powerhouse - this year could be quite entertaining.
Hopefully our goalies can prove to be solid and I think we’ll have a good year.

Makes sense. Also, just realized that the Isles get a 8th rd pick in 2024... A guy like Huckins was probably looking for pro options for this year, it could be that he only made the decision to return to Junior this week. I have no inside info to back that up, that's just kind of a guess on my part.

I wonder if Horth is dealt? He will be a really good 20 this year I’m wondering if Hulton got a offer he couldn’t refuse

Im thinking this means horth or morneau isnt coming back
Im also thinking maybe this costs more down the road
Now someone tell me huckins isnt the kid that bathurst sent home two years ago because of off ice problems

The talent is there, the price was right but I’m not really a big fan of his…

He will be a really good 20 this year I’m wondering if Hulton got a offer he couldn’t refuse Horth should have been dealt last season.... no way his value is higher in August of his 20 year old season then it would have been last year at Christmas If Morneau is dealt thats fine as he was a free pickup to begin with so any value gathered would be great If one of them is not coming back then the deal is fine because its low cost... but I just feel this isnt great news for the year... hopeful i'm wrong tho also doubtful it's in any way attached to Brabanec or it would have been at the draft before they committed to Bell

It was no secret he had some issues in Bathurst, but everybody here knows that Hulton won’t put up with any BS.
To trade a 4th for a guy who could potentially put up 25-30 goals on a team where goal scoring is severely lacking - I’m all for it
