Maybe Boudreau sent to Jr.A for more experience and more starts? I’ve been impressed with Ozlos so hopefully he’s not the one gone

I guess it makes sense. You’re putting your faith in a 17 y/o that wasn’t a top prospect…and a young euro moving to North America for the first time.
Bickle will come in and add a little CHL experience to the tandem. If Ozols is going to be our guy, you want to ease him in and have a backup that is able to play a decent amount of games

This is one of these things that happens because our training camps in the Q happen so far in advance of the WHL and OHL camps. We can probably expect to see a few free agents who might land on Q rosters as players shuffle around to find jobs in junior hockey.
It's tricky to carry 3 goalies, so for the time being, I expect Boudreau will play at a lower level. He could go back to U18 with the Northern NB program. Also, his Jr. A rights are held by Miramichi. Just like our season, these leagues are just getting started this month, so there should be opportunity for Boudreau to catch on with one of those two teams.
What is interesting to take note of is that Miramichi currently owns the rights to both Jack Flanagan and Jacob Goobie, so there's a bit of a logjam in the crease there.
As for Bickle, obviously I don't know too much about him, but he does bring us some major junior experience to help push Ozols.

Evan Nicholson is listed for tonight’s Knights game. Has he been cut? I think he played our last preseason game didn’t he?
I’m sure he’ll be up and down as a local AP player either way
