The Islanders will host Halifax in an afternoon matchup today in Charlottetown.
I expect the Mooseheads to still be short staffed based on the trades they made yesterday. I don't expect the guys will be in from Shawinigan. Plus Rousseau wasn't in the lineup last night and is being rested following the tournament. On top of that they are dealing with a number of injuries.
Game time is 3:00.

Both new players are in today for Halifax apparently and Milner has stepped up his game significantly. Should be an interesting one for sure. I don’t think the lack of personnel on the Halifax end is an advantage for the Isles
Denis won the Q championship here, im sure he loves this rink.

Lol kidding aside, it'll be nice if we can get a big win tonight. Would be a great confidence booster to beat a still tough to play Halifax team.

Looks like Horth and Topilnyckyj are still out injured/sick, Ozols out, and Will Allen is back
Wonder if we are just going to bounce between Rutledge and Allen the rest of the season? Whoever is available depending on their MHL schedule?

Jim mentioned on the radio intro that they have a waiver claim on Armada 19 y/o forward James Swan.

The production is top notch with the changes! Looks so much more professional now. Great job to whoever has stepped up with the changes and budget for the studio! (Watching from home)

Not sure what happened to Swan. He had a really good second half after coming over in the Josh Lawrence trade. But this year had been a disaster. Good no risk pick up by Hulton.

He had a good 16yr old season as you said...20pts in 37gp. At 17yrs old he had 21pts in 56gp. At 18yrs old he had 36pts in 57gp. This season as a 19yr old he has 13pts in 34gp.

With his goal today, so far, Ross Campbell now has 20pts in 26 games played. The 17yr old Island native also has 37PIM.

Did they get the Swiss/Sweden refs? What a horrible call in overtime.
I'd be nervous if I was a Halifax fan though. They've really had a hard time beating us this year.

Trust me, we know we've had a hard time scoring goals in this stretch. Last night we had 8 forwards dressed, 2 of which were call-ups, only 3 of which regularly in the top 9. Tonight, we added 2 guys who drove all day yesterday to meet the team and haven't had a practice yet, so... 5 regular forwards XD I think once we get Reynolds, Crosby, Levesque and hopefully Duimais back, and get Denis and Sprynar a few practices in, hopefully the goals start coming XD

Pretty hard not to call a high sticking penalty at any point in the game. That’s one of those calls that have to be called no matter what. Different if it was a cheap hooking or holding call!

They showed it at two different angles. It's easy to not call it if you're paying attention and see it never actually hit him.
