If Halifax trades for pick #11 SJ really can't afford to mess around and trade down with hopes of still getting him... just in case Halifax pulls some funny business. |

Sj trades the 2025 Mon 1st for 19 and picks Chartrand Makes perfect sense. If he reports you got a high end kid way later than you should have and if he doesn’t, then you get a pick at basically the same spot you’d pick next year. |

My heart skipped a beat when the Q posted it as a 2025 1st round pick and didn't identify it as Moncton's selection.
All in all a good night. Surprised we haven't moved any players out yet though.

Sea Dog coach Crickard was the assistant coach with Team Canada U16 this past season and Chartrand played on that team. Fingers crossed that made a positive connection.

Very good draft by the Dogs so far. If Chartarnd reports this is a great pick if he does not report it does not cost anything as we pick next year. I see Mann and Peddle were there so I would assume they are not being traded right now! It will be interesting to see
Today if any trades happen from the Dogs.
