While the team has some likeable players, this might be the least likeable Cats team except the 27 straight losses team.
So many dumb penalties in the offensive zone. So many stupid 5 minute majors/suspensions. 0 discipline. 0 accountability. Very frustrating. Everyone wanted Lacroix fired last year and it really makes you wonder what could have been if they had done so.

Anyone have video on the Loshing and Collard ejection hits? From my vantage points, I wasn't able to really tell why Loshings was even a penalty in the first place, and Collards yes was a penalty but to me didn't looks severe enough to be considered a match (Again, this was from my own vantage point, without video review)
Also looking for clarification on the Major Penalty review. Who initiates it? Each time the ref had made the call and was about to resume play only for them to go back and look. These delays (not including the big scrum delay) really killed a lot of vibe and momentum
The kids have put through a lot of effort and provided lots of pushback these first two games. But they've been on the receiving end of bad bounces by an incredible margin, and some players are gripping their sticks way too tight and are lacking some confidence/creativity

The Collard hit was flat out undisciplined - does the fact it was well after a whistle affect the decision to make it a major? The hit itself didn’t seem to warrant it. |

Seeing the replays makes it clearer. Which is why they review.

Staying down doesn't matter anymore. The hits are reviewed. They were both correctly called majors. Not best quality when I clip them but here they are: Both looked pretty blatant hits to the head. Maybe they are not majors 20 years ago but pretty obvious ones now, no reason to swing your elbow while hitting someone. |

Our coach had Carrier serve both 5 min majors in the penalty box for penalties he didn't commit. Also, a guy who played a grand total of 2 games with us this year got given top 6 minutes before he did (not a knock on Hayne). |
