The cats need to cater to the "bandwagon fans". I know we're still only a handful of games into the season, I feel like the attendance is lackluster still atleast the three i've attended so far. The theme nights are sort of fun between country night/ y2k etc but, they could definitely find some ways to get more fans in the stands. Thursday night football night doesn't put butts in seats. Something like a loonie/toonie hotdog night or a "happy hour" game would 100% boost attendance, especially in say a thursday night game against a northern Quebec team. I would love to see the rink sold out like the coliseum used to be when the cats were a powerhouse. Curious to see what you guys think. The last time the Cats won the Q, the Coliseum was sold out exactly five times. Two regular season games against SJ and the three games in the Final against SJ. That's it. I think attendance has been great so far. Over 10,000 combined for a Saturday/Sunday on opening weekend and then over 4,000 for a Thanksgiving day game. Third highest average attendance in the league and the fourth place team isn't even remotely close. Nothing to complain about with those numbers.

THE BIGGEST reason you won't see happy hour deals or loonie/twoonie deals is because ASM owns ALL food prices and revenue, so hate on Avenir ripping us off not the Wildcats. So the Wildcats are kinda handcuffed with deals for things, with that being said I would like to see the THURSDAY games be Student nights as a package $99 General Admin for all 4 games with $5 coupon off a beer at the ICE BAR only or something. With attendance issues, there is too much emphasis on STH, they should worry about different packages that can be some sort of deal, WEEKEND Package (SAT-SUN ONLY)-Student Night Package - DIVISIONAL PACKAGE (2 division games and Quebec team) as well sell only the first 14 rows and block off all of the other seats until the bottom sells, too many times the sides loaded to the top but behind the Wildcats net it's barron which makes it look bad on TV. Attendance Wise 2019 - 5 home games (3-2 at home) 23,585 avg 4717 2024 - 5 home games (3-1-1 at home) 22493 avg 4494 so basically almost on pace from our last Mem Cup or bust season, I will give the teams props for trying themes but they don't feel like it with only music changing and nothing else..IE black gear and it's a Brightcoloured intro or 00's night with out a retro feel which is tough to compete with Halifax cuase they do 90's night the best A common deal for running the food/drink promotions is for the venue running the promos to "Charge-back" the company wanting to put them on (The Wildcats). So the Wildcats would have to pay the Avenir back the $$ difference of items sold on promo. I don't know if the Wildcats share on concession sales with the Avenir so if they don't then the Wildcats probably aren't seeing the benefit of doing the food/drink promos if they only see a small marginal bump in attendance I agree with the consensus that the attendance will bloom up in the new year as they typically do and we should certainly see an increase overall with the extra marketing and the go-for-it year. Definitely looking forward to the improved atmosphere

A nice little wake up call for the Cats in the 3rd period last night but it was good to see some perseverance and hold on to the win. I love the balls on MacDougall to pull Warren not even after a goal. I certainly wouldnt pin it on Warren but he was fighting the puck all night and coach Mac had already used his timeout so he had to do something to try and settle things down. And it worked. Im sure thats the message to Warren as well after the game. That is not a move we would have seen from previous coaching.
Their starts have been incredible. Keeping up that pace all game, all year will be the challenge, especially when they get up 3-4 goals like last night. Same thing happened vs Sherbrooke last week.
I thought the ice looked absolutely terrible. Maybe worst ive seen at the Avenir.

Hes a great player no doubt but needs to tighten up his defensive game or him playing other teams top guys could become a problem. The worst one i seen was when he lost the foot race to mateiko he wasnt giving much effort thinking he had time than when he got to the corner with him he got beat very easily there. There were a few more iffy instances i noticed. I still think Moncton is loaded and love the way the team is built. Morin is an ozone dynamite and is still very valuable to this team just needs a little work on defense.

After last night:
- Loshing in one goal from 100 in his Q career - Morin is 21 points from the franchise record for points by a defenseman - Wildcats are 36 wins from their 1000th

I have seen the same thing out of Morin in each of the three home games I have watched this season (didn't see last night) ... his defensive play seems to be regressing. Against Charlottetown, he had a play where he turned a 2 on 1 into a clean break as a result of an awkward pivot to the wrong side where he completely turned his back to the puck carrier - this is the kind of mistake you see d-men make in minor hockey ...

Watching the third pairing last night, I think the Cats will still need to add another #4-5 quality defenseman at the deadline. I'm thinking along the lines of Perron or Rotondi or Martin. Give me someone who can play with Grenier and play a responsible game but also could play 2nd pair barring any injuries.

Yes another is the St-onge shorty in OT hate to see him get burned. I think ur right alot of the mistakes he makes you just shouldnt see them at this level i think he just needs to be more aware of the guys on the ice at time. Im sure Morin will fix the whooes in his game though.

Does anyone know if you purchase a game on the chl app that you can watch it immediately after the game finishes or is there a waiting period?
Also, if you buy the Cats game tonight and can only log in around the 3rd period, can you start the game at opening face-off or are you forced to watch as where it is curremtly. Never bought a game before so didmt know how it works .
Can't make the game tonight so panicking lol.

Chltv doesn't sell a game pass, it sells 24 hours of access to a league. Replay is usually posted 5-10 mins after the game, but if you missed it, you could theoretically subscribe today and watch any games you want.

...also, did Loshing get hurt in the 3rd? Didn’t play a shift after the 7th goal. He was on the ice with the team to celebrate the win.
