One of those guys (Lincourt / Mangan) could probably be traded for an OK backup for Riopel and a pick, if none of the other goalies in camp are decent enough. It would also serve as a push for Rio to excel.

boby little imo should be cut .He played scared in Bathurst. What,s going to happen when he faces the real team. All of these guys are starting to shake out.The job of the coaches is becoming easier every day to make final selections. Still a tough job up front with strong showing from Brenton,Lessard etc. The back end is becoming much clearer. Barario -Piaonsi Baca-Dimitruk if he signs Boyle-Tolles Wilson or Fulotte Gomes and goyens are gone along with Little imo

He improved greatly last season, I think he will be one of the team's top forwards. He's in a different class than Brenton, McLellan, etc...

Interesting to note that Murdoch was the captain last night and was really "leading the troops" and doing a lot of talking on the ice and on the bench. That must be some sort of positive signal from the coach when you are made the captain if only just for one game.
Brenton played well but simply can't find the back of the net.

Here is my new lineup for what its worth Marquardt-Eagles -Lincourt Lessard-Sill-Bezak Labelle- Cameron-Brannon Macauland /Brown-Morehouse-Lemoureux/Maclellan Smith stays for a while in case of injurys Magnan Stays for a while in case Marquardt stays pro then trade if possible Sniderman stays to see what shakes out with Rio's injury ongoing and look at possible trades on d Barario-Pianosi Baca-Dimitruk Boyle-Gomes or Tolles but not both as they are 19 Furlotte or Wilson as future prospects Thats my 2 cents worth

Firlotte and Blain were cut today. Sucks to see Blain cut, he had a nice shot. He just needs to work on his skating and he could be on the team next year.

Firlotte and Blain were cut today. Not surprised by the Blain cut. He needs another year at a lower level, work on filling out his frame.

Firlotte and Blain were cut today. I think Lewis was cut too, he's no longer on the roster on the wildcats site. So there's twenty forwards left in camp. Smith, Stephens and Lamoureux are all on the bubble. Plus one of the 20yr olds has to go. So it could still be another week or two before the tough decisions have to be made. I don't see there being any forward cuts for a bit with four of them going to pro camps and Watson and McAusland hurt.

Firlotte and Blain were cut today. Surprised that Furlotte has been cut so soon. I thought he would get a longer look and even have a chance to be on the team as the #7/8 defenceman out of camp. However with him being cut I think that signals the Cats are very confident that Dimitruk is going to sign and be our 2nd 17 YO d-man along with Barberio. The reason I say that is because I doubt they wanted to have 3 17 YO d-men on the blueline this season. It will be an interesting battle to see who grabs the final 3 or 4 spots on D. Still dissapointed that Miceli was cut as I think he would have fit in nicely. Pretty good camp from Blain, and if he adds some pounds going into next season he may have a decent shot at making the team.

anybody else heard about Charles Lavigne (ex kitchener Ranger goaltender) coming to Moncton? Is there a connection between Josh Unice picking Kitchner over Moncton and Charles Lavigne ending up here? Do you know anything about this goalie?
