The only 2 things I could see other than family emergency is...1-he thought he'd be in the lineup all year and they can't promise that or 2-he got homesick with his family now being gone.
Given that he's already lost a year of NCAA, the odds of seeing him back seem pretty high.

Second of all, even if we did, even if Dimitruk played but half the games he's still getting more ice time then he would in NCAA  |

Second of all, even if we did, even if Dimitruk played but half the games he's still getting more ice time then he would in NCAA I don't think he'd be playing NCAA this year anyway, probably prep, but your point is still certainly valid. |

I can't see Tuesday's fights being the reason (at the very least, not the main reason) for Dimitruk leaving; clearly thedoubled's rumour had some truth to it, and he posted it well before Tuesday's game even started.
It could be anything.... Hopefully whatever it is will get worked out.

I don't think his father can be labeled that because of what he wants for his son. He should reconsider and know that its a Canadian Game in the World and we play that way occasionally, and we are the best in the world most years. |

Hard to say what is going on here.. I still hold to my view that the guy that posted this rumor in the beginning needs to still grow a set and spill the beans on what is happening. Is Dimitruk gone for family reasons or has he had second thoughts whats up??

The Sea Dogs had a similar incident awhile back with Alexander Monohan and he left for about 10 games or so wasn't sure if this was what he wanted to do but then came back and is now in Victoriaville so he could very well come back.

truth maybe..but the reason is what we all want to know.. is it personal family issues.. is it he is having doubts. hey if its doubts.. lets send the kid a bunch of emails telling him what our experience of watching the Q for however long has been. Tell him that we want him here. I dont know...but it would be nice to just know the reason... if its family related.. well the actual reason is none of our business,,but just be nice to know it is family or it is his doubting his decision!!
