I thought Legault played very well for Bathurst. He kept them in it and gave them a chance to win.

I know a lot of you like to stereotype Euros and say they are pansies and such but you can NOT say that about them this year. Baca hits everything that comes towards him, is physical and heck he challenged a guy to a fight tonight. Bezak is a hard skating forward, comes back to play D, forechecks hard. I know these guys don't have a tough act to follow but they seem real good. A Euro forward and a euro defensemen from the same country, seems to work well for us.

I hope that I'll get to see him play alot of games this year.. every time he's on the ice something entertaining is going to happen, be it for good or bad whenever # 28 is playing the crowed and myself pay attention and look foward to it.

How can you like it when a guy "flipps the bird" towards the other bench ...don't any of your kids go to the games there??? very disrespectful ...really not needed to make his point ....unprofessional too ...oh yeah....Morehouse

I really liked Baca's game tonight, love the fact that he's not afraid to get involved in the rough stuff. Eastman was decent and there's reason to believe he'll get better once he gets some games under his belt. It was nice to see Marquardt play with some passion when he took that run at Labrie, granted I really wouldn't want him taking a penalty like that once the games are for real but still nice to see some emotion. Riopel was fairly solid but not really tested that much. I thought Legault played well for Bathurst although I didn't think he was really tested that much either.
At the end of the game Brannon squared off with Lambke and was wailing on him while he was down on the ice, which was uncalled for and understandably had the Bathurst bench quite upset. Now I'm not sure who Morehouse ended up fighting with but I did see him down on the ice with the Titan player over top of him. Some of the players on the Titan bench were encouraging him to start beating on Morehouse but he did not and simply let Morehouse up. Have to give the Titan player credit there for taking the high road. Although I'm sure he probably regreted that after Morehouse allegedly (I didn't see it) proceeded to give the Bathurst bench the finger.

morehouse is 5'8 i 180 max he fought a guy 6'3 243, if the guy jumped on him the benches would of cleared imo, morehouse had a great game and the cats need him like that all year pissen off the other team After his last fight i was behind the bench and he did not give the finger to anyone he simply did a double fist pump which i can see could be seen as the finger but it was not i really like how every one shits on herr about how bad a fighter he is but you know what the wildcats are alot tougher with him in the lineup sure he won't win every fight but he will stick up for all his teamates, i would rather have him than the toughest guy in the league who no one will go near and jsut turtle if he tries to fight them at least the will fight herr who is a good middleweight also he did not have a bad game defensevly boyle had the best fight of the night marquart has to play a little tougher good to see him fight, he needs to be a presence like a cam neely if he wants to play pro

Labrie deliberately took a slap shot into our bench, is that better then "allegedly" giving the finger to a bench?

Who was Brannon wailing away on at the end of the game? Did the Bathurst player even want to fight?
I hate to see that type of thing, doesn't matter which end of the incident the Wildcats player is on.....

Have to give the Titan player credit there for taking the high road.. There's an important fact missing from your comments about Brannon squaring off with Lambke. Why did Brannon go after Lambke? Well, you forgot to mention that it was Lambke who took a run at Moorehouse after the game had ended ( and no, not just finishing a check) and Brannon was sticking up for his teamate who was given a cheap shot by Lambke. A player who takes a run at your player after the game is over doesn't deserve to have someone "take the high road" with them. Lambke didn't take the high road when he hit Moorehouse after the game ended so why should Brannon take the high road. If Lambke is going to be stupid, then he better be tough. You can't have it both ways, if you want players to follow the "unspoken sportsmanlike rules for fighting" then what Lambke did to Moorehouse is no better. I remember this happened last year when someone ran A. Mac. I hate seeing this happen as well but maybe Lambke will think twice before taking a cheap run at someone. After watching him fight though...I now see why he didn't follow the rules and ask for a fight with Moorehouse!
