Yeah Danny must have lit a fire under the guys after the game in Saint John. No one on the team let the Titan take any cheap shots at Riopel or after whistles, nice to see that spirit, something that was missing last year.

I totally agree with you, they sticked up for each other tonight, it was one of best Ex games, I've seen, alot of hits and rough stuff, all around good game! I was shockingly impressed with Herr, he actually played decent...

No mention about the fights. Titan must have won both of them.

I agree Herr did have a decent game. althought he took one stupid penalty and didn't bring anyone with him, but he had a good fight against #38 - 6'3 243 .

The Morehouse Sill Brannon line will be a pain in the ass to play against.
I like how Baca used the body, he reminds me of Jan Horacek who was one of the more underrted d-men in WC history.
Rio had a pretty easy shutout despite looking shaky on a few, it's his first game action in quite awhile...

I think Morehouse made his case to be captain tonight. After that crazy first shift with Brannon and Sill, everybody else matched the intensity and it was like watching Gaudet, Samson and Hepditch play for an entire period. That wasn't even close to being the same team from saturday night in Saint John. Flynn must have lit a fire under their asses.
I'm not worried about team toughness after tonight's game. This wasn't the same team as last year. Even Marquardt got in on the action. I know Herr and Boyle weren't exactly taking on heavyweights but heavyweights usually just fight other heavyweights anyways so being a team without a heavyweight, we shouldn't have to worry too much about the other teams heavyweights. All we need is guys to be willing to stick up in scrums and after cheap shots like everybody did tonight. Even Baca wanted to drop the gloves after he got elbowed but the other guy just turned around.
Eastman seems ok. He hasn't played since two mondays ago so I guess it would be unfair to judge him right away. He seems to play a bit like MacDonald with less skill obviously.
I think Brown looked a lot better tonight than the last two games. He seems to be gaining confidence pretty fast. I didn't notice this before but he seems bigger than 5'11" 170 lbs. Maybe it's because he's playing bigger now and driving the net more or it might just be something stupid like I was sitting closer to the ice or he was wearing bigger gear.

Did you see those moves pianosi made? sweet. And Marquardt smoked that guy. Moorehouse was a little out of his weight class on the last fight though. 243 pounds. Baca and Bezak played well again. Great picks. And you're right. That Sil, Morehouse and Brannon line is fun to watch.

I want to see Eastman play a team that forechecks. The Bathurst forwards did not make life hard for our defense tonight and had time to get set and never had to worry about being pressured. Eastman does handle the puck well, but I want to see if he can handle the physical side of things.

That was the best exhibition game that I have seen here in a while. It had everything.. hits, fights, goaltending. The Morehouse-Sill-Brannon line was very fun to watch. There's one thing about Morehouse I don't like.. and maybe it's just me. It looks like Morehouse tries to set himself up to be hit from behind. He's always looking like he's waiting to for someone to check him from behind. I thought Bezak played very well. That kid has so many moves. Really look forward to watching him play. I think he could play on the top line with Marquardt. Tonight was the first time I have seen Eastman play. Thought he played well, although Bathurst didn't really test our D. The fights, I thought we had the edge in all of them .. well except for the one after the game was over. Did Morehouse even think he had a chance? I wish everytime we played Bathurst it was like this. Wish the rivalry would be that great!

A lot of good going on with the wildcats. Some players on the bubble need to be seen and step it up. I also thought Tommy Legault played very well for Bathurst.
