I always found this kid had a bad attitude...almost like he believes he's above the team...dressing room cancer IMO. You have obviously never played competitive sports judging by that comment. Actually, I have... please explain how you came to this conclusion... your comment is ridiculous

Marchand is and always will be a hotdog ... and all teams have players like that from year to year ... but you can overlook the negatives when the kid produces like Marchand does. You'll never find a dressing room that doesn't have a few guys that make a few waves from time to time. Marchand does need to clean up his act though as that won't fly at the next level ... although dressing room garbage is always tolerated in Boston. I agree...he's a great player and would love to have a player like him on my team....but sometimes attitude hurts a team...no matter how good he is.

Actually, I have... please explain how you came to this conclusion... your comment is ridiculous If you had played on sports teams, you'd know that there are always guys with a chip on their shoulder, that's the case for the majority of star players...the bottom line is that those guys re difference makers, without Marchand VD never beat Cape Breton last year, obviously he wasn't a cancer there, he carried the team along with Letang.

Everything...guys that are starts more often than not have an attitude and a chip on their shoulder. You're not going to win a championship with a team of 4th line choirboys.

That is true. However, Sutter as we all know is a demanding coach, but I also would like to believe that he is a fair coach. If there was an actual "real" reason that Brad was late, one that was not his fault, I personally believe that Sutter would have taken that into consideration and allowed Brad to play in this final game. IMO There's nothing fair about Sutter...leaving Sheppard off the team, naming his own kid assistant captain. How can you rip a guy for his team selections when he has never lost a game? His own kid was deserving of a letter. Just because guys are older and are more experienced doesn't mean they are leaders.

I think he's a cancer in the dressing room and I think more than 1 year with the guy and the others get fed up of it. Sometimes your comments make you look stupid

A Monkey could have coached that team...and basically every player on the team deserved a letter...they are all leaders on their own teams....but giving it to your own kid over guys who actually played on the U20 team is asinine.

There were only 4 returnees from last year: Irving; goalie so no letter. Gagner; wore an 'A' Alzner; wore an 'A' Marchand; sometimes suspect attitude, benched for 2 games. So, the only guy Sutter got a letter over was Marchand, and that really doesn't look like a bad decision. I did think it was a little odd before the tournament, but not after watching it. Sutter didn't do anything to show he didn't deserve it. I actually thought Lucic getting the 'C' was weirder.

We've all been late before...often times it is out of our control. We dont have the details as to WHY Marchand was late, perhaps it was something he couldnt control. I always found this kid had a bad attitude...almost like he believes he's above the team...dressing room cancer IMO. And yet every team he plays on wins........... his hockey career is speckled with championships left and right. Doesn't seem to hurt his teams too much.
