If his father is indeed reluctant to have his kid go down a different path, why did he let his son attend training camp, sign with the team, and play a couple exhibition games before deciding not to let him go that route? Buyer's remorse? Don't you mean sellers remorse? |

the kid isn't coming back ... his dad isn't letting him get to far away and there is no way he will be in moncton this season. with that said if his appeal doesn't go throw there is a slim chance he will be back next year.

Very good source, Cats are so desperate that they called Tolles to come back from the BCJHL.
Regrets, bad decisions on dmen without experience. Demitruk's parents dont want him playing this hockey. College for him, if he sits out a bit so be it.

Very good source, Cats are so desperate that they called Tolles to come back from the BCJHL. Regrets, bad decisions on dmen without experience. Demitruk's parents dont want him playing this hockey. College for him, if he sits out a bit so be it. Is this even possible. I know they released him.. but how does that work? |

If he goes NCAA he has to appeal and then sit out a year. I don't know how it works.. all I know is there is a guy in the States named Paul Dimitruk would do anything to be in Moncton right now.. would do anything to be able to help out the team. And that the rumour is not true about him coming in November. I would love to see him in a Cats jersey, but I don't think the odds of it happening are too good. If he would do anything, he'd be here right now.......... |

His words were that he would do anything to be here.. but ultimately if his parents don't want him here, there's not really too much that he can do. What is he gonna do, run away.. I left home at 16.....moved over 2000 miles from home and went to work............if he really would do ANYTHING to be here, he'd be here......... Oh, SNAP ;D It's not a snap at all when he knows fuck all about me.....I'm not from Bathurst first of all..I moved here to take advantage of a good business opportunity that was presented to me........my father also has a PHd and a BAs and something else....he currently teaches in a university in Ireland........I was pushed as hard as anybody else to go the university route, but like I said.........He would be here if he wanted to be. |
