Although that is possible, really anything could be. Maybe he had a girlfriend and a bad breakup and he wants out of Moncton. Maybe he got insulted by a teamate. Maybe he wants to return to his home province. Maybe he doesn't get along with Flynn or Bergevin-Jean. I think we should lay off the speculations. They wont get us anywhere and will do more harm then good. If Labelle, Riopel, and someone else suggested Lessard have all asked to be traded ... I suspect I know what the problem is ... something the three of them have in common that no one else on the team does ... do the math.

I'm surprised it took this long for somebody to mention it Lamoureux, Goyens, Lincourt also had the same thing in common. Interesting that the first two are in the lineup pretty much every game on some much better teams.

At first I thought it was a dislike for the coach, or being in the coach's doghouse.
But if you add the players named by Milo, you've just named every Quebec born player that had a realistic chance of making the team this year.

and Matt Eagles
Can't imagine there being an anti french bias in Moncton of all maritime cities

I'm quite sure the Quebec-born anglo kids are safe.

I remember playing with him when we called him up for a tournament in Nackawick (he was playing atom, we were pee-wees and he got a hat trick). I also remember Mike Eagles having a hockey camp in Fredericton.

Well,,,my opinion is that you will see Riopel , labelle and probably Baca, leave at Christmas, as the coach dont seem to like them,,,he always said that Riopel save us a lot of game, and then because lavigne is good,,,riopel dont play anymore,,,and dont take me wrong Lavigne is very good, but Riopel too,,,he should play also,,,,as per labelle,,,he is the only one sitting tonight,,,and if he play, he has about 5 minutes all together on the 4th line,,,no time to do anything,,,labelle was coming here this year with a goal to do around 50 goal,,well its not gonna be with us,,,by sitting on the bench,,,and Baca,,dont understand english, well dont they know that when they went to pick him up,,,the game against Saint Jean show us that the coach only, play his 1st and second line,,,did anyone see Morehouse or the 4th line on the third,,,nope,,,so its not the guys fault if we lost , but more the coach decision, the guys were exausted,,,so for around 15 minutes, we only saw the first and second line why dont play the third and the fourth,,,no,,can someone explain to me,,for Labelle, he doesnt play, or on the 4th line for 5 minutes and he his trusted to go on PP, or for the shoot out,,,,maybe I dont know my hockey, what do you think,,he his trusted enough but then sit again on the next game

Has anybody thought that maybe Flynn is showcasing Lavigne? There is a shortage of solid goalies and maybe they are looking to deal him at the deadline. His stats are decent and he is only 19 and doesn't use up a 20 YO spot. Just thinking out loud. My exact tougths! Lavigne will be in demand come trading period....so will Marquardt.....so will Labelle amd hopefully Gomes!
