Tardif was weak on a couple of goals and Riopel got real nervous in the 3rd and OT and nearly gave a goal to Svoboda on his wrist shot....
Goaltenders were so and so and Desnoyers wished he would have never deflected that pass from the corner in his own net.
Nice come back by the Titan and lots of intensity....
I really liked the efforts of Masé and Svoboda and the lead taken by Clendenning.
Character building victory....

Wow, quite a thriller. Anyone wonder why the Titan wore red socks for the warm-up, then wore the red jersey with white socks for the presentation, then wore white socks and jersey for the game?

they were supposed to wear the red jerseys for the game but Moncton didn't bring their white ones so the Titan had to switch.

Way to ruin the moment moncton!!! lol I think that was probly one of the best openers we could of wished for in terms of exitment. I feel really sorry for the people that left early haha

What a rollercoaster that game was........this looks like a team that won't be giving up even when down a few.......very nice to see.......Clendenning and Masse impressed the hell out of me tonight......IMO, they wasted Svoboda out there with Mailloux and Faille........Mailloux should be 3rd line and stay there.......
Critchlow is a guy that will become a favorite very quickly......reminds me a lot of a young Clendenning, hitting, gritty, in your face player, with surprising speed and hands.
Desnoyers looked like the dman that I hoped he would turn into this year......solid.
Renaud impressed me a lot tonight also......and Remi Blanchard is a keeper.......good to see these guys looking good early on and nice to know that once we have Labrie and Sigouin back that our d looks like it might be ok in the 5 and 6 spots.......
Tardif let in 2 that I thought was weak.....the 1st goal where he moved off the post and their 4th goal where the puck went between his arm and body.......besides that he was solid and made some very good saves......\
The pass Messier made to Chamberland was just sick......tape to tape and onetimed top corner......awesome pass and nicer shot.....

If this new jersey was kept so secretive beforehand... maybe Moncton just sent along their usual road reds.... and didn't bring a second set of jersey's to wear... assuming the Titan would be wearing their usual white and blues. Crazy idea, I know. |

The Cats' organization were told a few days beforehand by a league memo that the TITAN would be wearing their red jerseys for the home opener therefore they were to wear their white ones... a simple mistake?  yeah right!!!! absolutely no excuse for such lack of class!!! nice try kitties but you still came away with the loss.... |

If this new jersey was kept so secretive beforehand... maybe Moncton just sent along their usual road reds.... and didn't bring a second set of jersey's to wear... assuming the Titan would be wearing their usual white and blues. Crazy idea, I know. Yeah, crazy. 3rd jerseys (to be worn) has to be approved by league. Someone in the Cats organisation knew.... |

The Titan were approved by the league to wear their new jersey's for the home opener......Moncton was informed by the league and by the Titan......Moncton didn't bring their white jersey's........The new Titan jersey's were part of the opening ceremonies and were supposed to be part of the game to start the 10th anniversary celebrations......he has every right to be pissed about it.......it was a Moncton mistake. |
