IMO it wasn't a Moncton mistake but done on purpose to try to throw the Titan off their game. Thats right. It was no mistake..Once again Moncton shows it's lack of class!!!

ok..let me rephrase then.......whether or not it was a mistake, they knew they were supposed to wear their white jersey's..........anyway, it's all over, the good guys won, so let's not get too worried about it.

Anybody think Bezak might be targeted a bit next game for his goal celebration?..... ;D It was scored in the 2nd wasn't it ? If they didn't target him after that then why wait until the next game ? Stuff like that is meaningless a few minutes after it happens. But ... yes ... hotdog crap like that needs to be "adjusted" out of a player .... if he doesn't get the snot beat out of him his team leaders need to take him aside and explain why its frowned upon.

It was probably somebody in bathurst that forgot to tell them. The road team usually doesn't care what jersey they wear, as long as they know. You got it in for everything Bathurst don't you?.....lol.......it was probably somebody in Moncton who forgot to bring the right ones when he was getting the gear ready........see stupid little things like that work both ways....... You mean forgot to bring the "wrong ones" ... since bringing their road reds would be the right ones for a September game. You got the win ... why make drama over such a meaningless incidemt ... perhaps its a simple mistake with no intent behind it.

Carl Chamberland impressed me last night. He was jumping up into the play and was solid in his own end. He scored a beauty goal coming in from the point and one-timing a bullet pass. He only had 8 assists last season in Victoriaville but in 1 game for us scored a goal and had 2 helpers. Keep it up.

He did look like an idoit doing those push ups, and it looked like he was having a had time doing them, but Eagles went right over to him and got him to stop. I don't think you will see him doing that kind of crap any more.

Wise move on Flynn's part!

Ya Eagles came right over and told him not to. Who was it on the Titans who scored their first goal. i cant remember his name. I just seen Masse going over and getting the puck from the ref.

It was Couture's first career Q goal (not surprising since it was also his first game) and Masse got the puck for him.

If this new jersey was kept so secretive beforehand... maybe Moncton just sent along their usual road reds.... and didn't bring a second set of jersey's to wear... assuming the Titan would be wearing their usual white and blues. Crazy idea, I know. Yeah, crazy. 3rd jerseys (to be worn) has to be approved by league. Someone in the Cats organisation knew.... meh... were rivals, baby. I can honestly say if Bathurst had pulled a similar stunt at the Coliseum (wouldn't put it past them), I'd be hard pressed to bat an eyelash. It's how it goes... all part of the fun and games that are sometimes childish junior hockey rivalries. Also, what do these jerseys look like anyway... is there a picture anywhere?

they are pretty much the same as the blue ones, except the red and blue are switched. Having red jerseys for the first 8 seasons it kind of looked like they belonged more than the blue ones.

Powerplays 12-4 for Bathurst? Kind of one sided wasn't it? Was Moncton that undisciplined or were the refs just really bad? The goals to assists also seem rather one sided. Strange game.

I have a terrible memory for remembering teams and years when things happen but it reminds me of when the Cats were playing either Bathurst or Halifax, and we were finishing the player introductions and they did the usual " and now the rest of your Moncton Wildcats". A little bit early, the visiting team comes flying out of the penalty box area interrupting the rest of the team skating through the cat and almost knocking a few players down, it looked pretty intentional, I laughed it off.

I dont recall if all of the penalties were deserved. I do recall a clear view of the Gomes knee call and, their was a whole lot of holding throughout the game!
