What if you don't want to or can't buy tickets online? Oh, I'll just stop at an Irving Mainway(Blue Canoe) and pickup up a couple of tickets. What? you can't buy them here? Fuck! I don't feel like driving to HS to buy tickets. Fuck it, I won't go. This is a scenario that a lot of people have probably gone through, maybe minus the profanity.

Oh yeah might I add, the rhetoric about the lower deficit of HS compared to other venues. The Harbour Station commission or whatever its called now eats this shit up. They haven't a clue. The place is dark 90% of the time. What the hell do the management do during this time? Maintenence can only take up so much time. Why is the place being bypassed time and time again? One word....... CADDELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2003 game 6 Flames vs WBS Penguins Saint John Crowd is on there feet everyone making noise.... those who couldnt get seats watched the game on tv... did they complain about the noise when saint john would light the lamp scoring the only goal during the game to win the calder cup...flags waving, drums banging, fans screaming and stompin there feet. Playoffs bring a whole different atmosphere to the building..

The atmosphere that night was amazing and hard to describe and hopefully the people in Saint John WAKE THE HELL UP soon and bring that kind of atmosphere back to the Station sooner rather than later.

I'm sure people want to make noise but not at the cost of being expelled from the arena....

Just a general comment from a Moncton Season ticket holder.......our family has been to 3 Seadogs games this year at Harbour station and it is a much better rink than Moncton to watch a game at......but your ticketing staff leaves a lot to be desired. Last month we where there and got to the game 1 hour early because of the long ticket lines. We had coupons for 10 tickets per person for out of town season ticket holders. When we presented them at the box office, the lady had no idea what to do......we told her they where discounted passes from the Quebec League but still she had no clue...I started timing the process and it took 7 minutes for her to print out our four tickets.....At which time she told us that they were free..no charge for the passes....we told her that we owed 40 and wanted to pay by debit , she said no and did not get her supervisor involved..........With 2 minutes left in the second intermission, the ticket person comes to us in our seats and tells us that we owe her 40 dollars and that we need to settle up ASAP...I told her that we would settle up after the game, that I was not going to miss any of the third period....she was not happy.......with 10 left in the third period she came back and casued a big scene at our seats with a lot of our Moncton friends and fans around....she said it needed to be settled right away and she did not believe we would come back to pay after the game......needless to say we were embarressed by her actions and wanted to speak to her boss after the game.......we went to the boxoffice after the game and paid and spoke to the ticket manager....and found the problem....if an employee is short money on their ticket sales, it comes out of their pay..no wonder they are slow, they are scared to make a mistake........
Anyway this illustrates a minor issue I had with my family but my take is to get there early and have express service only in the last 1 hour of ticket sales.......
Also, a lot more training needs to be done in the ticket office in regard to customer service and product knowledge...

crashthenet: I do not know where you get your informaiton from, whether this ticket person was lying or not, but i know for a fact that if a ticket agent is short money it does NOT come out of their pay at the end of the night. And its 100% fact.

Crash: it illustrates their placement of process ahead of customer satisfaction on the priority ladder. HS is an abysmal institution when it comes to satisfying the fans and the purchasers of icetime. It's reflective of attitutudes everywhere in business Tom Peters anyone?

You guys are preaching to the converted. 99% of potential fans have no idea this board exists. Start writing some letters to the editors or get this fan club out drumming up support. You're waisting your time here. I preach the Sea Dogs to anyone that is remotely interested in hockey. Two co-workers finally went to games last weekend for the first time. They were both amazed at the quality of hockey compared to the last two seasons, and both are planning to hit a few more games this season despite young families.

I think tonight will be a make or break night.
If the Dogs play well, then all those parents who brought their kids with the hockey teams for the first time will come back.
If the Dogs play like shit, well, they'll think twice about coming again.

This is one of the things I miss as well, I would have bought a Holiday flex pack if I could have picked one up at the mall like I did last year. Fighting traffic and five minute parking can be a major deterence to last minute ticket buying. Better access to tickets are a good idea. The internet is nice but it doesn't promote that hey there's a game tonight I may as well pick up tickets since I'm here anyway. By the time you get home you forget about it.
