SEA DOGS VS SCREAMING EAGLES TONIGHT!! - 7:00PM - HARBOUR STATION
In Cape Breton’s first game in the Port City this season, the Sea Dogs were beaten soundly by a score of 6-1 in their home opener on September 21. Saint John rebounded in their next match against the Screaming Eagles however, earning a come-from-behind 6-4 win at Cape Breton’s expense on November 25 in Sydney, NS.
Chris DiDomenico scored three goals against the Screaming Eagles in last month’s road win, giving the 18-year old sniper two hat tricks on the season and three in his career.
PLAYER TO WATCH: New Brunswick native Jordan Clendenning is currently in his fifth QMJHL season. The 20-year old winger was dealt from Acadie-Bathurst to Cape Breton earlier this season after having registered 21 points (8G-13A) in 21 games for the Titan. In 2006-07, the 5’11”, 188 lb. winger tallied 16GP-35A-51P in addition to 117PIM in 64 games played for Acadie-Bathurst.
SPECIAL NOTES: Saturday’s game will feature a LOTTO 649 HAPPY DANCE during the second intermission. The promotion will feature two fans competing in a dance competition at centre ice with the winner being rewarded with a brand new mp3 player courtesy of Atlantic Lotto.
