The injury thing wasn't so much for that single game I mentioned it because we have been without those players through this 6 game trip. I think the players we had missing on each team made it even for that one game but in a larger sense our top players have had to play much more over this trip to accommodate for the absent players adding to the fatigue factor.
As for the projected points I’m not overly worried we normally have a slow start and pick it up come second half the only thing that dose bother me is depending on who gets moved at Christmas could have a bad effect on the team. But I guess as long as it's for the grater good (next season) I can deal with it.

Our top players played more for the last three months as that is all we play and I don't even think that most of them practice because they get the time off to rest. We did not play a great game and your team looked weak. Sorry but we are not in last place anymore so you have to start taking what you dished out the last two years.

You got to be kidding me you make Gallant unit look like Einstein.
Your top players play as much as the rest of the leagues top players don't kid yourself I watched all the games Vs the Sea Dogs this season and what I’ve noticed is when your team is tied or winning you role 3 lines with the forth sharing spot duty. When you’re loosing you play the top 2 lines a bit more basically the same thing most teams will do in a situation when you need to score. As for the Practice I can guarantee you they do and they probably work harder then the other players.
I watched the game and my opinion is different I think if we had to have seen Mayer we probably could have won the game but Fullerton has had our number all season. If you don't want to believe me turn to the stats we out shot you we had more dangerous shots (take those for they're worth) we won more faceoffs and over doubled you in hits. Then if you don't like the stats maybe some of your own fans thoughts on the game might help and by all accounts 2 of the goals were lucky bounces (they all count) so take those away it was a 1-1 game. I’m not saying we deserved to win or even a tie but it was closer then you would like to think.
First off I don't have to take anything from you. Second I've rarely ever given the Sea Dogs fans shit over there teams play actually over the last few weeks I have said a few nice things about them. The only real thing that I've said to piss off all the Dog's fans was that Brennan is better then Grant and that’s hardly dishing anything out so maybe you should get your facts straight.

I did not give any crap to you or your team. The stats say Dogs 27 GP 37 points Foggies 30 GP 26 points. What is your address I will send you a Sea Dogs towel you can use that.? I like the view from up here and I will enjoy it while I can. Sea Dogs win! Sea dogs win!

Hubris has been the down fall of many a boy True that excessive pride has led to the downfall of many a boy....but we're not talkin Shakespere we're talkin' 'bout junior hockey and nobody is putting you down to bring ourselves joy, pride goes before a fall is indeed something to consider....so is take it with a grain of salt....as springer said we will enjoy the view up here while we can .

My response to that Habh8er is this, for the most part we foggies fans were friendly with your fans in the past 2 seasons understanding what was going on with your team and seeing you guys had some bad luck. Then all of a sudden "new" Sea Dogs fans pop up everywhere and use an excuse well we were down and out so now deal with it, while most of your "regular/old" posters are taking it in stride and enjoying the ride without letting there joy get the best of them. They were here for there rough times and will be here when it gets rough again not sure about a few of the newer posters.
I don't mind a jab or two when it's provoked I’ve given a few myself but there was no Devils fans even posting here and Mr. Springer decided to call us out and I aint yeller so I responded, politely I might add, only to be met with a "this is a taste of your own medicine" comment that isn't really true. I know me and a few other Fog Devils fans want the Dog's to do good (when your not playing us) but it seems maybe a few Dog's fans are Jealous with what we did in our first 2 years and feel the need act out now that they are 11 pts ahead in the standings.

Not all of us though MarkOfTheBeast. Even when boys like Trouty, Phaneuf and Griffin use to come here and blast us in the first two years, I still wanted you guys to do well. Well...not do well but...finish ahead of Moncton and Bathurst. (unrealistic expectations in those first two years I know).
Doesn't matter though. Some people on both sides will take shots when they can and hate each other as enemy #1 because we came into the league together. For me I hate the other two teams in our province and see them as enemy #1 and enemy #2. The Fog Devils come third.
Anyway...best wishes to your team (except when you play us). I want you guys to finish ahead of Moncton. (I don't think Bathurst is possible).

Well MOTB I hear what your saying but when you start a post with "You got to be kidding me you make Gallant unit look like Einstein." you're looking for a certain kind of response. Like I said if we all do our thing and take what we don't want to read "with a grain of salt" there will be more discussion than if we get pissed off and just don't respond. As far as being jeleous of what the Devils did....getting beaten in the first round of the playoffs wasn't what we were building towards. Please don't take that as a jab, but more of a kick while you were down.

Yeah I know what you’re saying that’s why I said some. you can’t paint all posters with the same brush.
The Dog's are Number 3 on my depth chart too. First it's Cape Breton then PEI must be an Island thing haha. Actually CB is number one because of the first 2 playoff series then PEI I’m not really sure why but I think it dates back to the game with like 5 fights in 10 seconds, or maybe it was the first season when we finished ahead of them I’m not sure haha

That Einstein comment was after I responded nicely and he came back with a take that comment with a little stupidity attached suggesting that your top players don't practice and that they for some reason play more then any other team’s top players. As for your kick I supposes if I wasn't trying to be nice I could comeback with something like How dose it feel to know that Ilia Ejov had more wins in the first 2 seasons then the Sea Dogs did as a whole but then I’m being nice and wouldn't say something like that.

Thats whats expected though MOTB.... The passion for your own team is what makes it fun.... black and white is much more entertaining than a bunch of grey, as long as there is no name calling or insults being thrown around I think the "rougher" the better. This aint no ringette league.....Speaking of Ejov did you guys throw his address away, or the next time Timo struggles will he be getting a Dear Ilia letter in the mail. ;D
