I am a little concerned about the weekend as it appears we are down to three lines. I kind of liked what I saw with the Titan when he was rolling Thomas around the lines to give guys breaks. Put some strength on these lines and excellent ice time for a young player that needs it. However there is talk about a newly created fourth line and that would include Thomas, Langan and a new pick up. If this happens they never see the ice in my opinion against these tough teams. I would rather stick with my JB did on Wednesday as we did dominate most of the game but just ran into a wall in their net and that happens. Fullerton stole one for us against Halifax not that long ago. Three games in three days it will be nice to see how the boys hold up because this will be just like playoff hockey. If we can get guys some rest so they are sharp in the third I say a 4 -2 win Dogs tonight. If we get down and tired in the third 6 - 2 Titan.

This will be a big win for us if we can take it. Bounce back from a tough 1 goal loss which will bring us 1 point behind the Eagles. And how exciting will the 2 games this weekend be against them. That could be like a playoff match.
Does anybody know when Mayer is to leave for the WJC?

The boyz are gonna have to bring their A game with injuries to 2 or our top 3 point guys this is could be a rough couple of weekends.
The good news if any is that the Christmas break can't get here fast enough so the guys can heal themselves in time for the second half of the season and the push for the playoffs maybe even a 1st RD Home ice advantage.
I'm not sure when Mayer leaves but the Canadian Camp is from the 10th to the 14th I do believe. I suspect he'll just leave early and spend Christmas at home anyway.

Well hopefully the boys can even out the season series tonight at two games each. We won the first one here(2-1 in the shootout), then they have taken the next two, one there(6-3) and the one here on Wed. night(3-2). Good close games here...the loss in Bathurst not so much with the home team leading 4-1 going into the final frame and beating us in all aspects of the game outshooting the Dogs by 13 shots and going 3/4 on the powerplay.
We could use some good hard hitting in this game tonight, they are a team lacking in certain areas(toughness) and we would be smart to finish all checks early and try to get them off their game in the opening period. Maybe some ice would open up for our breakouts and cycles in their zone if we play them a bit rougher than we did in the last game. I'm not talking taking libertys or being dirty, as a few of their posters have said we did in bathurst last time we were there, but hit them early, hit them often, and hit them hard!
Prediction Saint John 4 - Tits 3....Fullerton with the win. Go Dogs Go!!
