Bingo...PP strikes...3-1 Dogs Edit: Anthony from Howes Checked the Q site, as I didn't think it was a PP goal...they have us at 0 for 5 on the power play....hate to nit pick but I don't see any PP goals in the last 3 road games, and 2 for 27(7.4%)on the road...8 for 45(17.7%) at home...and 10 for 72(13.8%) overall...I agree with whoever said "whats up with 4 forwards on the PP all the time" it's not working, try something new!!!

JB has only really tried the 4 forwards PP system regularly in the last 2 games, this year anyway. It's not like pumping out Grant/Sauve all the time was meeting huge success, although I do think a lot of that has to do with keeping Grant out for about 1:45 of the 2 minutes.
Not that Grant shouldn't be out on the PP. Just saying nobody should be out there for 1:45 of just about every PP.

If you get scored on while you're on the PP you get a minus, and likewise a plus if you score while shorthanded. And rightly so, in fact they should double them up in those situations IMO.

One stat I found amusing: Grant with 2 SOG.
On one PP, I saw Bernier make at least 4 saves off Grant shots, plus another that was blocked, and an other that missed.
Apparently, this type of inaccuracy is common in Maine, as the Mr. Kennedy mentioned it near the beginning of the game...I can't figure out why they would, as all it really accomplishes is lowering the home team goalie's save % stat.

Kennedy I thought called a good game one of the best guys at try'n to stay neutral not so sure about the Jabroni sidekick though ;D Well, Canucklehead, Al's not gonna be objective. He's a former player (on a Memorial Cup team and the Quebec Nordiques) and his role was to drop the gloves! Since you can't take the hockey player out of the announcer, he's a "team guy" on the air since he's not able to be one on the ice anymore. Makes for good listening....for Maineiacs fans! ;D

Screw that. I love biased announcers. People that put on the false air of neutrality kinda piss me off actually, and are usually boring.
That said I do think you do a very good job at it though Rob. You did last night anyway. Was the only time I heard you call a game so that's all I have to go by...so far. ;D
