I think having a crooked used car salesman as announcer is about as low class as it gets. This guy better not be back again. You get a radio personality to do that kind of job, or someone with public speaking experience. You umm...give them an interview and trial run maybe? Did they not learn the lesson from that drunk/high idiot last year singing the anthem??? Does the front office ever learn anything? They have hired moron after moron since day 1 and obviously they continue to cut corners when it comes to the fans.

The best team is built from the ground up.. Sea Dogs have and are changing things around but I dunno if it will ever be 100%, everyone who works for the team has to I dunno really care and be a fan of the sea dogs. Or at least enjoy doing the job.

I think what everyone forgot in all of this was, that every single QMJHL govenor, manager, the comissioner and other top execs in the QMJHL were upstairs in the Alpine Room through the entire thing (well to midway thru the 2nd, anyway).

Yeah I forgot about that actually. This just keeps getting better and better. I know they had other reasons for leaving after the first period but I hope that display just added to those reasons.

announcer was horrible. Hope he gets more into it like Cromwell did. This guy is just blah. Cromwell is a radio news guy and the basic announcements are bland anyway so he was perfect that job. But they do need announcers who get into it and get the crowd into it. With Wayne gone wonder who that might be?

A couple of the new front office people they hired do have hockey and sports work experience hopefully they can change things around.

I'm somewhat confused about this whole attendance issue are we not approaching 2k season tickets? If we can put as many fans in the seats as we have during the past 2 seasons as bad as they were I say we should be fine once we start winning some more games ;D

You realize that our game-night coordinator is a 23 year old. And he aint that bright. Who says you need to be old to be a good game night coordinator....and do you know the guy? Most of the Fans are little kids...it doesn't take them much to entertained during the intermissions. The problem is not who is running the show for the sea dogs, the only way to fill HS with a bad team is to give out $50.00 bills...This city is not exactly dedicated to any team, when the flames were good we packed it...when they sucked...the place was empty...its the same thing now, this year the place will get a little more full, and then a Little more...every year they get better the attendance will get better. It doesn't matter if they have Bruce Buffer upstairs calling out the names in 4 languages... I don't think the Brass of the Q really care who is announcing the game, they know they could bring someone in for the mem cup.

It shows are lack of planning and preparation and competence. Plus a lack of respect for the French language. We are the QMJHL after all and you do know what that Q stands for right? We are also a bilingual province and while Saint John is an english majority there are quite a few french/bilingual people in this city. They shouldn't have to "bring someone in" for a Memorial Cup or any game. There are tons of bilingual people in this city to recruit from. We should already have a competent bilingual announcer in place. I'd also be shaking my head if I was a player from Quebec playing for the Sea Dogs after that performance. Brutal.

Yes, I do the game-night coordinator. And he is as annoying as Gallant-Unit, only I'm pretty sure he isn't even a Seadogs fan.
