I take it Knucklechucker is reliable in his conformation so congrats to Alex..as was mentioned earlier D-Mac kinda "handed the torch" last year,so it comes as little surprise...however, the rest of the captaincy is really up for grabs...could go almost anywhere...Dido,Char(20),Knox(20),Sauve,Sparling,on and on,..my vote is for Despres-Dido-Anthony...thats the future around here ....the future starts NOW!!!  That is quite crazy Despres and Anthony will be the one's in need of the older guys to show them the ropes and lead them in the right direction not being in a leadership role. These 2 young players will have enough to deal with during their first Q season. Yeah thats the reason for three-a's.. Dido and Grant can handle the room...and the kids will gain experience...as I was saying they are the future...not saying they will...but I would  |

I figured Grant would be the man and they picked the right guy no doubt about it!
I agree with Killer? anyway.....lol
He was pretty much picked last year and it was his "C" to lose when DMac hand him the Mic after he addressed the fans and Alex had his speech for us that spoke volumes and at that point it seemed very clear who our Captain would be.
As for your "A"' I wouldn't look any further then Dido and Sauve as locks. Dido unless like it was said earlier he's to quite qhich I doubt he will get 1 of the A's and Sauve wore an A for Canada which JB was obviously an assistant coach so it just makes sense he'd give him an A for the Sea Dogs. The 3rd A might be rotating between a few players like Sparling, Knox, and F. Charland
As for the mention of Despres or Anthony wear any letter but the letter on their backs it's just not gonna happen.

But you don't give 16yr olds or 17yr old rookies letters. It's something you have to earn. There's nobody on the team going to take a 16yr old A seriously, no matter how much of a leader he is. |
