I can confirm that Alex Grant has been named captain for the upcoming season. No word yet on who will wear the A's. I am sure the DogCatcher will post in detail when he finds out.

No way Dido doesn't get an 'A'. He was actually my vote for the 'C' but I have no idea how he is in the dressing room. He might be a quiet sort or something. He certainly leads by example on the ice though.

No real surprise here and I believe he is the best canidate to lead our team. Many speculated it was his at the end of last season when Dmac passed the torch to Grant

One of these days he will have to back up what he says,likely this season. I think he was rather silent last season until he got comfortable. |

I take it Knucklechucker is reliable in his conformation so congrats to Alex..as was mentioned earlier D-Mac kinda "handed the torch" last year,so it comes as little surprise...however, the rest of the captaincy is really up for grabs...could go almost anywhere...Dido,Char(20),Knox(20),Sauve,Sparling,on and on,..my vote is for Despres-Dido-Anthony...thats the future around here ....the future starts NOW!!!  |

That is quite crazy Despres and Anthony will be the one's in need of the older guys to show them the ropes and lead them in the right direction not being in a leadership role. These 2 young players will have enough to deal with during their first Q season. |
