Leduc seems to be playing with an edge this season.............we did not see this part of his game last season.

Herr will most likely be cut. He's caught up in a numbers game.. if it's a tough guy we were to keep, I think I would keep Lamoureux before Herr.

If Gallant or Pisano was out there Herr would have hid with his tail between his legs. If that was the case please explain why he fought Cormier twice, instigating one them and those two aren't even remotely close to Cormier. He's not a great fighter but he wouldnt be scared of Gallant.

How did some of the players preform and how was Mayer tonight??

I'll start with the goaltenders Fullerton gave a shutout in his half can't do anymore then that including a breakaway. Mayer very solid also covers his angles only goal he gave up was after he made 2 saves D gotta clear that that being said it was up in the air alittle tough to find no doubt. Defense I thought the defense was awesome!!! Limited number of shots and for the most no real complaints at all. Grant worked well with Despres calling out to him several times alot of talking good stuff. Also looks like Grant did countless end to end rushes almost scoring a highlight goal. I think they all played very well with only 6 D in the line up. They punished the Moncton forwards all night Grant did knock a lid off. Forwards Mike Thomas is gonna hurt someone? thought I heard that somewhere earlier this training camp I had a perfect seat for that one well looked to me like he may have taken a couple extra steps and a charging call was warranted guys that hit like Thomas does do at times take charging penalties alot like Jordin Tootoo. It was scary at first because he wasn't moving at all and there was blood on the ice. Sorry not sure who the player was didn't even think to look at the number just glad he was ok. Thomas was a wrecking ball out there though every shift. Dido being the first star was kinda funny seemed to me like he was playing like it was preseason not going all out like he did last preseason obviously last season he had to prove himself now he doesn't and is likely the reason for playing at about 75%. I thought the forwards play a solid game though all in all they on several occasions kept the Wildcats pinned in deep and kept them from making line changes making them dog tired. ................................................................................................... Moncton just a few quick hits for ya. Great pickup if they decide to use Charles Lavigne with Riopel. He played a very solid game the first goal took a bad bounce on him heck Liske didn't even know it went in until he turned around and seen a Sea Dog with his arms up. Dimitruk looked solid but took a couple bad penalties one right after they were given a 5 minute major (Thomas Hit) Herr's fight with Leduc was a dud Mangan was probably the best Moncton player on the ice tonight although I give props to Lavigne.

I thought Mangan was Monctons best player and coming in second would have to be Sill and also Lavigne had a great game if it wasnt for him the score could have ben higher, made some nice saves.

If I had one suggestion for Moncton they need a true enforcer Herr is not that guy for sure. They can't let guys hit their players like they did tonight. Thomas was hitting everything that moved and Moncton needs a guy to stop that from happening.

He's not a great fighter - He got dropped by Justin Saulnier for god's sake!! - he's just not scared. He's fought some tough guys.
