Rumour about Knotek going to Shawinigan for either Nicolas Larocque-Marcoux or Gabriel Lemieux but most likely Larocque-Marcoux

I like Larocque-Marcoux...great skater, skilled...
Gabriel Lemieux is Alex's brother, but he is a 1990 dman, not a good fit

Lala, I'm not sure what I expected. Amyot for sure. I understand Russells points about keeping him, and I never really wanted Bety to go, but I guess I saw what other teams were getting and figured Amyot to be worth close to something worth doing. I never like a trade for the sake of a trade but it just seems pointless to me to keep amyot and dimitruk next year. Amyot's value will never be higher than it is right now IMO. The small trades that have been made so far were good moves, just would like to see one of our more marketable players moved. Unfortunately the teams interested are dwindling.

Why would Knotek waive his NTC to go to Shawinigan. Why would Shawinigan want a 3 month rental player? Makes no sense.

A lot of teams dont like Amyot...maybe with Southorn out there and now Lemieux and perhaps Scandella, a lot of teams may wait till the end to see if prices drop on those 3...if not they may go for Amyot. I dont think hes worth nearly as much as other people. He isnt going to get what Delisle got. If an offer was out there for a 2nd rd pick straight up for Amyot im sure Cam would have taken it already.

Yeah that's what I was thinking this morning. There are certainly better D available, I'm not Amyot's biggest fan to begin with either, lol.

Apparantly Delmas is coming to Halifax for a 2011 pick from rinkrat Not a bad idea depending on the pick... Corbeil could use someone to share the load with, push him a bit more.

Quebec apparently added Domingue(17) and Tardif(19) last week so the writing was on the wall...

Yea I agree, we need a little more stability and experience in goal. However, would either Delmas or Corbeil be happy splitting time?? Both deserve to be a #1. I'd think a lesser know would be better served in a back-up rather then Delmas. All depends on what we have to give up for him I guess.
