Yea I agree, we need a little more stability and experience in goal. However, would either Delmas or Corbeil be happy splitting time?? Both deserve to be a #1. I'd think a lesser know would be better served in a back-up rather then Delmas. All depends on what we have to give up for him I guess. Delmas has not looked like a #1 the last 2 years, he's lucky to still have a spot in the Q.

Whats the story with Brad Macdonald? Any good? Change of scenery acquisition? Got moved from Gat to Victo last year and had a great finish to the season but I don't think he started well this season and maybe left Victo (? not sure there) and was traded to PEI but I don't think he was going to show up there. Played for the Subways I believe. I think he's 17 and has some offensive skill but 4th team in a year and a half and hasn't really put it all together yet. I'm not even sure where he's playing right now.

Brad MacDonald being the same as in Bradley MacDonald, who PEI just acquired from Victo?
edit- nevermind it is. Good pick up, I was hoping we could have gotten him from Victo.

MacDonald has the skills to play in this league. Sending him with a 2nd pick for Nolin and Esposito could be marked as one of the worst trade of the decade if he puts it all together.
He got traded by Gatineau who was struggling at that time, so they brought many older players to try to turn things around. MacDonald ended up in the stands. Wrong decision if you ask me.
This year, he got hurt (shoulder???) and Victo offense was clicking so well, when he was ready, he was scratched. Don't know why he didn't play for PEI though.

I hope Halifax didnt give up anything more than a 3rd rd pick for MacDonald Agree, given his history. I don't see how the Moose could loose on this trade. He should be cheap but could give a lot if given the ice time.

MacDonalds issues arent 'on the ice' related. Hes a good player.

Anything more on the Knotek to Shawinigan?
I could see Laroque-Marcoux and a pick being enough for Knotek. Marcoux would likely play in the league as a 20. However it would surprise me to see Knotek agree to go to Shaw. Interesting rumour.
