The Q site rosters are before the trade period...its weird... Oh wow....I didn't even notice that. I should try waking up fully before surfing the Q site for possible backup goalies ;D

Interesting to see that we will aquire a 10 yr old goalie for a 5th in 2011 and we must have traded MacDougall for that 2nd rounder. Any idea who that goalie is? My guess is Tardif. Unless a 5th is not enough for him in the case I'm not sure. I heard a rumor MacDougall is going to Lewiston for a 2nd so that might be it I heard the same thing. Strage that Lewy would trade foir MacDougall but shop OBR.

Could be Lewi has their eyes on '11-'12 and want some good leadership for their youth this year... that being said a 2nd rd pick isn't exactly cheap leadership.

Lewy is making weird moves left right and centre...
Deal your captain (Lacasse) for a 3rd rd pick...than go out and get Houde-Caron for JF Plante whom you picked 9th overall...
Lacasse is better than Houde-Caron...and he was your captain...and you just dumped a 17 year old kid...makes logical sense.

My guess is they are having problems getting players to report, so instead of having unhappy players they are dojng like Couturier and trading them.

And here's a couple goalies who are 91 DOB's and should be available... Guillame Nadeau in Bathurst if Roy goes there. Antigonish native Derick Tait is behind Clermont in Gatineau and both are 91's. Shawinigan also has 2 91's in Girard and Lacerte. So my guess is 1 of Nadeau, Tait, or Lacerte. Lacerte is the #1 Titan goalie. Nadeau is the backup.

Buffalo signed Jacob Lagace, LW, to a three-year entry-level contract, worth $558 annually. Lagace, 20, had 35 goals and 73 points in 60 games split between Cape Breton and Chicoutimi of the QMJHL. Lagace was a 5th rounder, 134th overall in 2008, and is signed one day before Buffalo would lose his rights.

$558... poor guy. I hope they at least give him a bus pass and maybe some MacDonald's gift certificates as well.

Lagace signing is a blessing for you guys... If he returns and has a good 1st half he probably brings back more than he costs though. I wouldn't be shocked if Buffalo sent him down at soime point.

Doubt it... CB would give up a 2011 1st rd pick..which is going to be top 10...maybe top 5...maybe 1st overall...who knows... Lagace would probably get a contenders 1st rd pick plus a decent young player...id rather get the top 10 pick.

Plus if the market is good they might get the equivalent to 2 1st rounders. I'm sure CB will find enough FA's and fillers to not finish bottom 5 in 2011 anyways. They are like the Halifax of the early 2000's.
