Should be a great weekend. Hopefully one of these guys takes it : Graeme McDowell,Martin Kaymer,Bo Van Pelt,Zach Johnson,Y.E Yang,Lucas Glover, Brendan Steele and Robert Garrigus
I really hope Tiger is out of it by Sunday. Sunday I'll be drinking some beer and watching it with some friends after our round of golf and I want to watch golf...not just hear about Tiger all day long. I don't hate him, I just hate the way the media loves him. It's Crosbyesque.

I am still a Tiger fan boy so that is who I am rooting for...would live to see a final pairing of Tiger and Rory going head to head. On a personal note...I am hoping to get out for the 1st round of the year on Friday

TSN says coverage of the Par 3 challenge starts at 4pm AST. yeah........my guide was "misprinted"..lol. I put it on the timer, and was disappointed when it was golf from the past. the par 3 was cut short by weather.....Harrington the leader at -5.

tiger is definately not out of it, but not on his game......missed 4 putts today inside 6 feet that would have had him only 2 shots back, at this point. looks lost with the putter......hard to believe, after the putts we have seen him hole over the years.

Entertaining final round....always enjoy when there are a half dozen players that have a chance to win. That is classic Mickleson....instead of checking his ego at the door, he could have easily carded a bogey if he went back and teed off.
Nice to see Bubba win.

Really was nice to see Bubba win the green jacket this year. Quite impressive for someone who was self-taught and never had a lesson. Maybe some of the thinkers in the field could learn something from his approach.
What a shot by Oosthuizen for the albatross. A bit of luck involved of course, but what a golf shot. One for the ages.

A lot of people don't realize that the albatross is better than the typical hole in one ... and rarer ... 3 under par vs the typical 2 under for an ace on a Par 3. But the shot was a lot of luck ... even though he knew it would feed down toward the hole if he rolled it on at the front edge. It was just too perfect ... it just had the legs to drop in the front of the cup.

another great Masters finish.... congrats to Bubba Watson..... fun golfer to watch Phil's stupid decisions cost him again.... I think he was looking at an easy double if he took the unplayable. On day 4 of the Masters I think you have to gamble a little and avoid the doubles. The expectation is that you can hack it out on with your first attempt and then try to get up and down for a bogey. When it didn't really come clear of the trees after his first hack it was too late then to change his approach. It was a bad decision in hindsight. From my perspective as he was pondering what to do ... his best chance at bogey was the approach he took. If he goes back to the tee ... he probably takes a double ... on in 3 and 2 putts without any further mistakes. The hole is 240 yds (not sure what it was playing yesterday) and so going back to the tee doesn't mean he gets it close. That would have still caused him to lose. He lost by two. In hindsight it was a bad decision ... but in the moment I'm not sure it is a bad decision. He was trying to win the Masters ... and as you can see even a double would cause him to lose.

his best shot at making a bogey would be to go back to the tee... however it was the 4th hole of the day lots of golf left to recover from a double... the decision he made brought the high number into play and really took him mostly out of contention
but listening to him describe it was just typical Mickelson crap... he hit the shot he wanted (really?) just the grandstand got in the way lol.... he suggested he actually wanted to put the ball in the front bunker.... anyways doesn't matter likely as his game was just not on yesterday and both Oosthuizen and Bubba played the best and fully deserved the win
