I see Talbot-Tassi didn't play tonight. Are they protecting him for trade or is it just a rotation of their 20 year olds?

Mann released and will report to Yarmouth. Seeger has been placed in a special waiver draft so he can potentially picked up by an OHL team. Here's the free agent forward from Ontario - www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=212966I'm not really sure what he adds at all, but we'll see I guess.

An article in today's Acadie Nouvelle didn't paint the Cats in a very good light in the Jacob situation. Can't really say I disagree when you cut a guy 48 hours after confirming he made the team, it looks bad. Almost seems like Shannon and Rumble are giving mixed signals to players.

It looks as though he will be back with the Flyers from what I here but my "sources" don't seem to be very accurate as of late. From what I here he (his father included) wants to play with the Flyers as they'll be making a strong run for the Telus Cup this year in what is essentially a week league and the Flyers are loaded loosing only loosing Ryan Chiasson (all be it the league MVP) and Justin LeBlanc both with the Commandos this year. I don't believe the Commandos were jumping for joy at his return either as it would handcuff them to a certain extent.

Zero truth behind this. It's the first I heard but I can guarantee you it's not the case. He'll finish his junior year a Wildcat and captain the team. Who knows, my source is very close to the situation. He's not going to Calgary's camp.

12-13 minutes a game in Jr.A would be better than 18-20 in MAAA for him at this point...same for Conrad, Ward and Alward.

I agree fully only in that it would be better for them developmental wise but not for the Commandos who need to ice a stacked (older) team to lure fans or they could fold in the near future. They've been very open that they are/were not getting the average number of fans needed just to break even, the writing is on the wall for them and there is no room for these players in that situation.

I think I remember reading one year that Leroux's predictions are always the kiss of death.
Nonetheless, like I said on the main board I think this division is more up for grabs than people believe. CB has questions in goal, still pretty young on D and doesn't have quite as much depth up front as they did last season. I still have them finishing 1st and Moncton 2nd, but I'm basing a lot of that on CB making more moves during the trade deadline. Right now it's anyone's game and Charlottetown could just as easily finish 1st as CB or Moncton.

Moncton CB and Charlottetown are good but not great so another team could jump in the mix, even Bat or SJ if they take a leap forward with their young guys.

Wonder if the Cats have a big ceremony tonight for the 20th year?

Sounds like it's going to be a fun and frustrating year all rolled into one. Can't wait to get this going and see how it all plays out.
