What makes no sense to me is...why schedule a game on Friday if they don't have the rink? I'm hearing talk that the Coliseum is not available Friday... Yup pretty embarrassing. I was under the assumption that arrangements had been made but nope, they are still trying to figure out. Luckily for them, it might not even be necessary at this rate.

Well it's been said before, but these situations always seem to work themselves out

They might slow Ehlers down. Garland is usually good in traffic.

It is interesting to note that the guy that runs the Speed Sport East show (although it was just announced that he is in the process of selling it), is a big supporter of the Wildcats, a season ticket holder, and a former employee/volunteer (media relations guy) of the team. I believe he was also one of the many partners that originally brought the Q to Moncton back in 95 as the Alpines. You'd think he'd do #whateverittakes to get them into the Coliseum that night.
I haven't been to Speed Sport in several years, but the last time I went I found they had a lot of unused space in the Agrena. They spread out to fill the entire space, but I found there was plenty of empty floor space that could be used more efficiently.

I hope the hockey fans in Freddy enjoy the game. Quite the rallying cry for the players...let's win one in Halifax so we can force another road trip to Fredericton. ...maybe Roger will have us over to his house for tea and crumpets before the game!

They should have played it at the university. At least it is in this city.

Incompetence on every level! And again, it's the Wildcats fans who are paying for it. How can the Coliseum double book? Unless there's an idiot that realised "Oh it's Friday at 7 PM!!! I was sure you meant 7 AM"

I was sure you meant 7 AM" What a slap in the face to the fans who supported the team all year. Is there not ONE rink in the city with an ice surface? What about SJ? Isn't it closer/bigger/more suitable for a Q playoff game? Typical of municipal politics to completely drop the ball and fuck over the tax payers while pissing money away. Spending $125K to force the home team into a road game for a potential deciding playoff game. Only. In. The. Q.
