How did O'Neil last this late? 52 points in 33 games in his last Bantam season, and was over PPG in his Midget rookie season. It's mainly his skating, it just isn't that good. In bantam, he was on a line with Gentile & Marchand as 2nd year bantams, the numbers don't tell the entire story.

Any other Tradesmen that might be picked this year?

I like the pick. Any other Tradesmen that might be picked this year? Dauphinee, Johnston, and Morley in the next few rounds could go. Colton Marchand went to Rothesay with Gentile, he could also go. Skating can definitely be worked on but usually a player has some natural speed. O'Neil is intelligent enough to get to the right spots on the ice to get scoring opportunities which can be looked at as more important than speed at times but it's definitely his skating is what keeps him ranked so late. I like the pick too. I know some people hate this notion but you have to have some local talent on the team/in the system.

F Avery Warner. Listed as a notable prospect for the 2017 NHL draft on EP. Is that outdated or is he going NCAA?

We traded a top four D in Lalonde instead of dumping MacIntyre, Dechamp, or Beaudin. Lalonde wanted ice time we could not provide. The return on him was way higher then it would be for the 3 you mention. 1 of them may still be moved, otherwise thats the bottom 3 with Leveille, Leblanc, and Gosselin. Good problem to have. I think Lalonde needed more ice time and was not going to get it with Leblanc, Leveille and Gosselin. I would have kept him also as I think there is a lot of potential but for whatever reason him and Bell did not earn or were not given the opportunity to play top 4 minutes. Funny thing is Dumont was high on them when they both were drafted and reported. As far as keeping Lalonde and trading Deschamps, MacIntyre or Beaudin I am not sure we would have gotten much for them. Trading Lalonde got us a character guy and a second round pick. And yes we still need at least one impact forward and with Lalonde gone a top 4 defenseman. We do not have someone who can play there now.

I thought that till his last answer of "I'm gonna play my game and bring what I can to their team", unless by that he meant all them tradeable assets lolol.
