Damn man, eagles showing they have some real firepower tonight. IMO it is just showing Halifax without firepower, as I expected.....

Some non-sequitur mixed with some projection and conformation bias. That's pretty well the recipe for a delicious delusional cake. Halifax gets blown out 7-2 in a pre-season game (which, he didn't watch), only CHSB use this to jump to this conclusion. Trying to rationalize that "hey, Halifax didn't have a bad night, they just suck, they must suck because Cape Breton also sucks, therefore the Titan are better by comparison!" (tell me I'm wrong that that's exactly what you are thinking.) I'd like to come back to this after about 15-20 games, however by that time you'll have deserted the boards again because the Titan will be in last.

I am not one to bash other posters but this is a ridiculous comment to make a preseason game. Were you at the game cause I was. Halifax had their fair share of opportunities. 31 or 32 shots I belive. They still do have Mieir (spelling) as well as Monniyan, Sommpii and a few other kids that will score, they do have some firepower. The Eagles played great IMO. Do not down play them when you have not seen them!!!! Belanger was lights out. His rebound control was amazing tonight. Isn't Dubios something else? He and Evengy where great tonight. Martineau was flying. Boucher held his own in his tilt with Bent. Bishop was his usual stellar self. Thought our d played well would like to see fewer shots against but it is preseason. Hoping for less shots against in the regular season. Anyone else impressed with the Eagles forecheck and holding the puck in at the blueline tonight? Halifax seemed to be hemmed in their zone alot tonight.

Belanger's rebounds were absolutely awful tonight, but Beaudin had a good game, and we had O'Neill and Bonaparte playing while Lazarev, Hoyt, and Tower did not.

Lazarev is nursing a minor injury, nor sure about Hoyt. although I didn't see anything on it,I'm guessing Tower might be serving a suspension for a slew-footing match penalty he picked up.

The Titan are always trying to "rebuild". Enjoy the basement and take you're trolling elsewhere.

I thought Colin MacSween looked really good. Seemed to improve his skating over the summer and good be a big piece of the bottom 6 if he continues his play like last evenings.

Fully agree, MacSween has been skating very well since the start of training camp. He should definitely be a big part of the bottom six this year.Pierre-Luc Dubois and Jordan-Ty Fournier also impressed me last night.

So no concerns about what MacSween brings to the table ...........given he is 19 years old ?

Don't know what game you were watching I did not see many rebounds at all on Belanger's part. I thought he had a real strong game. His position was great and he was reading the play well IMO. I do agree with everything else you said however.
